tsweers89
What were you quoted for all this? Just wondering if we are even in the same ballpark
jockhater2
I can check with jake(rawsomotion) and see what all data says for time. but $50 an hour is what I was expecting. What were you quoted for all this? Just wondering if we are even in the same ballpark
tsweers89
Ah I see, we are at $85 an hour. Good luck in your search.
jockhater2
rawsomotion is $50 an hour for cash. I'd pay $85 if thats flat rate and under 10 hours of labor. where are ypu located? tsweers89
I'd have to look up labor but I assume its more than 10 hours with everything you need done. Call another shop and get a quote. I assume they won't even do it over the phone and would need to see the car in person.

I know his labor for 15 hours would be $750.
jockhater2
My bad. Jake is $65-70 an hour. so around $1000 for 15 hours of labor. can anyone match that?
Earl
That's still not bad. In all honesty you can probably tackle this as even the gasket on my m42 was very simple.

Boris3
Speaking of Jake, I just took a look at his site and Rawsomotion is closing up shop in Germantown and he's joining up with Endless Autosport in West Allis. Good to see he's staying in the mix. https://www.facebook.com/Rawsomotion jockhater2
jockhater2
jake said $1040 for 16 hours of labor. he thinks this job should be 4-8 hours i'm just going to have the head gaskets done, the cap, plugs and wires and water pump gasket. GunMetalGrey
Not a huge fan of the Rawsomotion guy, he sold me a diff, I asked if it leaked from the input seal. He said no, and that it leaked a bit from the rear cover. I put it in my car, and it leaked about 3 tablespoons every time I drove it. From the input seal. Not too thrilled lol.Sorry for thread crapping, but I just thought of that.
tsweers89
Considering he is closing up shop and I assume just getting hired by Endless it looks like he wasn't doing that great to keep the doors open
