The Full Banana
Also, looking to possibly pick up a set of 15x6.5 ACS reps if I can sell my Style 5s and 16" contour reps soon enough! I have three 15x7 ACS type 1's, legit ones too... number 4 got lost by USPS somewhere between forest park, IL and milwaukee
Ryan...
My mind changes almost daily on wheels.. I was gonna buy some ACS reps off a R3V member, but then found out that after shipping they would cost me $570, then I'd need spacers/lugs for another $190, and then tires mounted/balanced would be another $320 minimum. That's way too much bank to drop on something I really dont "need"...Swedish- If I knew I could find a matching rim anytime soon I'd be all over them! However, i know the moment I brought them home I'd see another set that'd I be crazy about..

Ryan...
As i just texted you, too expensive lolIt just wouldn't feel right to drop that much dough on rims... I still want sway bars and new seats
The Full Banana
Out of curiosity, what size tires are on your weaves? I think I'm going to sell my 15x7 kosei's and just run my weaves instead, so I need to figure out what size tires I want.
alexw
Say no to reps, go euro weaves if you're looking for something a little cheaper but better than "stock".
Ryan...
bannana, lemme know how much you want for your koseis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're 195/65/14 I really dont want to drop much into rims/tires anymore, I've decided that this is going to be the year I finally get off my ass and do some trackdays with my bike. I need a suit, new helmet, and another bike lol
Ryan...
Snapped some more pics for the heck of it, looking at either picking up FullBannana's koseis, another guy's BBS modas, or dropping huge bank on some RS001s that would leave me broke forever http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272048&d=1301099616 http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272049&d=1301099616 http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272050&d=1301099616 http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272051&d=1301099616 Edited March 27, 2011 by Ryan... Ryan...
Before: *notice the stupid looking license plate holder sitting there, with nothing to do. Also notice the cracked grills, some other parts were held together with gorilla glue http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272589&d=1301592118 After: *notice the stupid looking license plate is no longer there. Also notice the grills have been replaced with euro grills from Abrahams Motorsports. No more gorilla glue for me http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=272590&d=1301592118

Ryan...
yeah that's what I'm thinkin lol Stupid question, but isn't it illegal to run them on the street? I just saw an older VW drive past my workplace with euro plates front/rear..
e92boost
It is! I got a ticket in my e46 a few years ago or so.. Unlawful display of non-US registration.. I think that was what it was called. Who cares I talk my way out after.. Plus unless it's a dick head cop that had the worst day ever you won't probably get pulled over.. But on the back is another story. I wanted to Rock one under my plate
Ryan...
Good to know before I slap one on one lol
straight6pwr
yeah you can get a ticket, but you can also get a ticket for having no front plate, so pick your poison. i ran the euro plate for a couple years, and no plate for the rest of the time and have never been hassled (even when pulled over)nice work on the front end. whats with the amber fog lights?
Ryan...
Yeah, I've been pulled over once and the cop mentioned my lack of plate. I told him it looked stupid and he laughed. I didnt get a written warning yet so until then, I shall be plate-less The amber fogs are the result of me clicking the "buy it now" button at 4am after sitting at work for 12 hours lol I kinda like them, but they could be swapped out in the future.
