I'm glad to see he replaced both the coils AND the wires. Most people don't replace the wiring harness
I hope he cleaned the carbs

Just get all the new type of bolts...they are better and you wont have that problem again if you have to remove them again

What did you run?Pretty much whatever you want. The tire classes are studded, winter/snow (tires with the snowflake/mountain logo), and all-season

Cheap trunk impaired. If I had the funds, and didnt have two other project cars taking up all my space, I would scoop it up.

go find a crack free dash and pay out the ass (which could also take sometime to source)
There is a crack free one for sale on FB up in Minocqua.

Here ya go. Grab itI wanted to get it for 1500$ At that price I would borrow my neighbors trailer and drive 4 hours right now to pick it up.
The lowest he said he would go is 2000$ still not a bad price. Just not enough of a deal for me to drive 8 hrs in total to get. Comes with style 5s. Offer him 1900. I bet you can get it!

People are fucking dumb and will pay extra just because it's BaT which means nothing like it did when they first started listing cars and were way more picky and thorough with vetting stuff. I've seen some ridiculously low-rent pieces of shit for sale on there which just proves how much they are chasing dollars instead of providing a boutique auto selling service.
Right? I remember 10 years ago, BAT has changed a lot....now you can list a 150k+ mile e30 318 with some bolt ons and it will probably soar north of 10k

Without a doubtIf you're looking for an IQ boost, certainly check out "Classic BMW's of Wisconsin"!

$15,000 would be a fair deal for the buyer. anything less than 12,000 would be a steal.
north of $17 and you have to demand an S52, LS, turbo, or other value adder
Thats what Im thinking. It is a very nice car, but it is still just a s50 swapped e30 with bolt ons.
$23,750... seller is probably jumping around right now.

So for that non-E30 inclined folks, what's this thing actually worth? Went from $12k to almost $17k pretty quick.
As with everything....whatever someone will pay for it. You could build the car for cheaper than its currently at, but finding a clean shell is the hard part. Way overpriced IMO.
and just went to 21k

Told you. Some type of bonus round crap. Takes forever for an auction to actually end and determine a winner.
Prevents the snipers I guess. More like an actually auto auction, compared to ebay where someone can swipe in and bid without giving everyone a chance to bid more.
-
So Ive never watched one of these BAT auctions... Im watching the 3.0CSi right now. It actually adds time when there is a bid. Kinda odd.

Contact amazon and send em the damaged pic. They will likely give you some money back. I had a window a.c. come with a big dent in it. Damage didn't affect the function so I was ok with it, they refunded me like $60 if I remember correctly.
