I'm thinking that is a GREAT deal for the price.

And Trash-DOS is exactly what we called it. I don't think they thought it through when they named it...
But then again, maybe they did mmmm?

Gotta love the old 8" floppies. 80 Kilobytes!
I was never much into the Ataris. My dad wrote a DOS for the TRS-80s back in the day. TRS-DOS - bought by Tandy Corporation (aka Radio Shack). And of course we know the giants that emerged from the primitive ashes.

A true classic that the Smithsonian would probably snap up in a moment.

So could that one in NJ be worth $3,295? Seems to be super clean, I'd be concerned about the reliability though.
How much does the stock 4-cyl crank out?

So like this one...
But how reliable after 172,490 miles is the engine? $3,295 seems like a bargain, but it's in NJ

Hey, I came back with a 318ti. Is that okay to do? Also I saw that I was "spotted" not long ago. Man I look fat from behind on a tiny motorcycle.
What year?

We did after Cars and Coffee in Madison! I took Matt and you took Chris! That was when the 335i was running just a fresh e85 mix and a PROcede tune lol.
Speaking of PROcede tunes, I have a Vishnu PROcede V3 for sale. If anyone is interested...

That's pretty cool! Is there storage for a "spare" tire under the floor?

...As a side note my dad picked up a '98 Biarritz Blue E39 wagon. ...
It has a weird slide out floor in the back, I hadn't seen one like that before. Not exactly sure of the purpose?
Pics?

Anyone else having this storm roll through right now?
Yup. Lasted strong for about 20 minutes and now just a calm rain with rumbling thunder all around. Pretty cool! And much needed rain...

I took my wife and son for a ride in the wagon today on a quest to prove it's practicallity...
...and she didn't have to wear a paper bag over her head so no one saw her in the car? Then you're making progress.

For $3600, you can't go wrong! Sometimes if it annoys the wife, that's just an added "feature". My wife hates my 335's because "they're too fast!!" LOL. Maybe that's what drove me to own two of them! Haha.

In a moment of weakness I listed the E30 for sale after receiving some news from my 2nd employer that made me consider quitting. I went downstairs, spent about 15 seconds looking at it, then pulled the ad off Craigslist.
Probably going to push back my modifications plan, but I can't bear to part with it.
Aw man! I was going to put a bid in!

What years range the 3rd Gen? Looks like they have evolved quite a bit over the years. Autotrader has TONS of them listed. But $ anywhere from a couple grand up.

Took zero pictures this weekend.
"Fixed" the rad fan on the e21. (kept blowing fuses. took it off, tested it, worked fine. put it back on, works fine...)
Other than that, just dug up some stuff out of storage that I need to get rid of. Looking forward to getting my new apartment. Not looking forward to moving.
Moving sucks. I hate it. Amazing how much $h!t you accumulate over the years.

Someone kindly translate the overpass ones? I can make out some of the letters, but not really making sense to me.
SLICK ROSE? Maybe...

I had an exciting day, Friday night one leg of my service shorted out and blew a fuse, it was shorted to ground. I didn't want to pay the after hours charge for the utility guys to come out so I made do without one leg and planned for today. I dug a 70' trench and made a Menard's run. I got a Type 3R breaker box to hang on the pole under the meter socket and other goodies. The co-op guys came this morning and replaced the janky old wiring with a 200A service to the new box on the pole, I just finished getting everything hooked up in the house, I replaced the breaker box in the house too because some genius didn't use duct seal and it was corroded on the neutral bus.
Had the similar thing happen to me about 10 years ago - neutral went to ground. We not at home when it happened. It fried a whole bunch of components in the entertainment center, including the TV, and the lights would go super bright and then real low, and kept cycling like that. The garage door opener was acting real funky too. It was like the house was possessed! Walked in to the smell of ozone because it had baked one of my surge protectors. Fortunately no fire resulted. The WPS told me the neutral went to ground near the terminal box behind my house. Someone had nicked it with a shovel (outside of my property so I know it wasn't me) and it eventually corroded. Fun stuff.
