  1. I'd steer away from King if you want accurate results. Saw a stock e36 m3 put down 265 to the tires(should be right around 200whp) at one of their dyno days.

Mine put down 297 on 6psi as expected with snow tires (don't know if that type of rubber would make a difference). Power curve looked good, maybe the person @ K didn't set it up right or maybe a euro motor?

  2. I should get to vote three times, gonna be driving my 99 (but still getting it intercooled & tuned for more boost with a smaller pulley) every winter. My Sedan needs some maintenance (and a paint job) before I turbo it. My 95 needs to be taken to someone who can figure out how to wire up my s50b32 motor, it's been sitting for 3 years (KummrowAuto might get my business if they can get my 99 upgraded without any issues) and it also needs a respray.

  3. Only OBDII cars need to get tested, to make matters worse, now we have to go to the private sector to get our cars to pass (Honda tried to rip me off at least $600 because my 01 Teggy would not allow the OBDII computer to test with aftermarket parts).

  4. I did some research on this a few weeks back and apparently the annealing that happens to aluminum at even the low temperatures of powder coating can change the strength/brittleness. Especially forged wheels that are relying on the strength of the material vs the amount of material. I don't think PC on most stock/beefy wheels is much of a problem though.

Didn't know about this, I got this set from Enthusiast Auto in Cincinnati already powder coated because I didn't want to pay the extra $1000 for the Contours. Ended costing me in the long run because I had two crack on me at the same time, replaced them (including powder coat paint) only to have another crack on me. Ordered another and tried to get it powder coated again by Alloy Wheel Repair, they suggested I sell them because my car has too much power for them (something about them not flexing the way BBS or OZ do) so they crack under pressure. They didn't mention anything about the wheels weakening because of the baking process with powder coat.

Now I just don't trust Kosei
