AH. I see. I can't get myself to buy a hub adapter.
Why? They are like $35 bucks!?!

adapter wheel- What did you use cut the splines?
The crazy wheel that came on the car had a hub adapter already on the car. I just unbolted the old wheel, measured the bolt pattern, and made a adapter to fit the two patterns together. Does that make sense?
Btw if you were wondering, the old wheel is a fourmuling

I got the city lights working (ricer green YES!) and I made an adapter to run my Nardi wheel from my civic..

I found some plasti-dip that was a goldish color that was close to the color of the top, so I ran with it and rocked the wheels like that all summer

Then I finally bought a new set of wheels.. I had to order new lips and run adapters but the fitment was ALMOST exactly what I was looking for.
The only problem was I wasn't sure what finish I wanted

Then I installed an M3 steering rack.....
which I might add did nothing :/

Over winter last year I did some basic maintence that was way overdue. valve cover gasket, adjusted the valve lash, did the timing belt water pump, all that jazz blahblah.....
cleaned the living piss out of the interior

Cut a coil out of the front springs. I waited way longer than I should have to do this because it made a world of difference.car handled better and felt alot more responsive. Besides that it was a tad lower. I also bought a "splitter" or so I thought. It was in reality a piece of foam with 3M tape on one side. I called an complained to the seller, and all that happend was he sent me another :/ oh well I installed it anyways.... Im 50/50 on keeping it.

The windows were so dark, it was almost impossible to see out of them when the top was down at night!!

So, this may or may not turn into a build thread of my car. I just have some time today and figured I would share some photos. I have a swap waiting to get torn down and installed next winter, but as of now, I am focusing on the suspension. The car is a 1993 BMW 325IC e30 Vert. This car is an original all options machine (besides a LSD
) that I picked up almost two years ago. I have slowly been repairing the little things that go wrong with a 20 year old BMW while trying to improve it to my liking at the same time. Bare with me as I use this thread to post slow progress as its made....on to the photos

No I did not. I went even stiffer
. I heard that's how the ladies like it. 10kF 12kR. I plan on spinning these as far down as I can to see if I can wear through my skid plate.. -

Well since you all have so much to say I ordered some BC's today. Found a supplier that cut me a deal, got the rates I wanted, and also included some adjustment extenders for the trunk so I can adjust the dampening remotely. Should be here in 2-3 weeks, needless to say I am excited. I really should just start a build thread on here.

Drove down a side street on lunch today and noticed someones driveway with two E28's and a Volvo parked in it? This was on the eastside of Madison off of Stoughton rd. Any of you guys live there?

I called BC Racing today and they were extremely friendly and very helpful. The man I spoke to suggests
160mm Front springs @ 8kg/mm
120mm Rear springs @ 12kg/mm - being custom valvedThere is a guy on R3V right now that has this set up and says its almost too stiff for daily driving.
My car will be a daily driver in the summer, but I have had some harsh riding cars in the past. My wheel setup is really aggressive and I rather have stiff suspension then redo bodywork all the time. If need be, and I have to take someone’s mother out to dinner, I will have a spare car to take.
I also contacted Megan Racing but they were less than helpful. The 15 year old boy or girl (I was unsure
) that answered the phone was reading me everything from there website. The only information I was unable to receive (after being put on hold with terrible music blasting out my ear drums) was that they do not offer custom rates for E30s. Cool, guess that makes up my mind.__________________ -
