The best part wasn't the launches or even how awesome the build is but rather the running m20 bolted to nothing but a pallet and shooting fire haha
Actually though that's pretty awesome
Edit: I can't read, m50

My old car came with an older alpine head unit and crappy old sub (Rockford Fosgate Punch something or other) in the trunk and it pissed me off so I took it out. I am all for a great, crisp sound system though. I upgraded the deck speakers to some awesome Memphis Audio 3-way 6x9's and installed some pioneer tweeters in the doors after I made my door panels. I was going to upgrade the mids in the kick panels to 6.5's to complete everything but I sold the car. It sounded damn nice though, maybe someday I'll hide a decent system in the e30 for those really long drives

Couldn't agree more!

Sorry

Thats a great article, very interesting to see the comparisons between those two cars. Favorite bmw? Im going to go all cliche and say a white E30 M3, I can never stop staring whenever I see one

So awesome, love the build!

So what do you do for a living cause I want that job
I am a junior in college but I had a relatively well paying internship this past summer. I set aside some money and did a small trip on the cheap around Europe with the gf, worth every penny! I have to put off some things for my car until after the semester as a result unfortunately haha

I forgot to mention, the pictures of the i3 and i8 were from BMW welt/world, not the museum. The i3 is actually very spacious inside, the tires are so thin, they were 155 but on a 19 inch wheel, weirdest tire size I have ever seen. BMW welt was awesome as well of course (and free!), you could sit in every BMW/Mini there. None of the Rolls Royce's though unsurprisingly. Not trying to rub it in, just excited to share

Definitely an extremely memorable experience, glad you guys enjoyed the pics! I was super lucky to be able to afford the trip. Did it on the super cheap, cheap hostels and lots of walking haha

So about a week ago I spent a few days in Munich and of course I used an entire day to go to the BMW museum and BMW world (aka my Mecca). Saw some extremely incredible cars and I figured I'd share for your viewing pleasure. If you get the chance I would highly recommend going!!

Holy crap that looks like a fun ride, awesome!!

That exhaust on the alpina looks awesome.
I couldn't find any more information on the exhaust setup, let alone the axle back portion. =\
I coudn't find anything from alpina either. What I did find was that the rear apron on that car looks to be from an M535i (All the Alpina B7 turbo cars I found images of had the stock rear bumper) but since the car in the article is also missing the matching side skirts I am willing to bet it was added later and the exhaust on it is custom made

Such an awesome car

Had 1 of these sent to me to decide if I want them - and to check out sizing and offsets. More to report back tomorrow....
Damn, those look nice

Well.... Need to finish replacing a bunch of stuff on the front end - and not happy with all of the body gaps.... But just happy to have it home!
Hot damn that looks nice

That's some awesome MacGyver-ing, looks like when I got my fan clutch off without the special tools and the big-wrench/swing a BFH method failed

Ouch...I wasn't even aware that a 6-speed was available in a 535i haha, that really sucks though
-
I got it off a dude on r3vlimited. $78 if I remember correctly.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but what kind of lip/splitter is that? I really like the look

That autobianchi is pretty sweet, very good editing too. For a lot of them, if you told me they were real, I would believe you!

Just three E36's, Two '89 Toronado Trofeo's, One '98 Chrysler Frown & Cunty (300k) and one '05 Scion Xb.
