  1. a zf for your car can be had for around 200 + fluids +clutch +mount + center support bearing +time you can do it in your driveway in a day so song as you have some basic hand tools and an external torques set. Cracking open and rebuilding a zf is not the hardest thing but its tinkery and the parts cost mucho dollars plus the housing tends to wear maybe your lucky and it's the center support bearing or a u joint on the prop shaft any vibration when you give her full bean? i would say put it up on some jack stands and see if you can get it to make the sound in the air then set the cruse or find a friend and pinpoint the issue

  2. if your drifting an e36 the rear rubber trailing arm and diff mount are the two weakest things. the trailing arm bushings don't last me an oil change if i drive my car hard but they are easy to change. the urethane ones aren't that great either, i'd go for delrin, brass, or uniballs in that order. e46 arms are a near must for you that and a shimmed or welded diff. just my .02 cents

  3. if you need help in the making of any parts let me know i can probably get it handled for you guys i run a fairly large machine shop so if you want something like a bunch of flanges waterjeted out i can get it done for you

also i'm with earl on the m4x manifolds but i guess i can just steal whatever you come up with and cut cyl 1 and 6 of to make an intake for myself

  4. black '98 318 gets 24-26 once on a trip it got 37.8 but i was sleeping in the back. the green 92 325 gets around 17. the red 93 always got around 28 the grey e23 was getting about 22 the green v12 got a little better than 18 and the grease-burner swaped chevy got 22 to 24. the 2 Audi's got about 1 balljoint per 600 miles :P

  5. Thank you to all that attended! as always there are a few things that I feel we(the GTG crew) could have done better at but in my opinion this was the smoothest scooters yet and that is mostly due to you, the guys and girls that attend. Every one seemingly had a good time and was very respectful of other enthusiasts, staff and most importantly our hosts/neighbors. We could not put this event on with out your attendance and we could not continue to host the GTG without everyone playing by the rules. We also had a best yet turnout for BMW's and that is something I personally like to see so thanks and if you have any suggestions or comments about the event I am all ears.
