0 wasnt m3
Cleaning up the engine bay first should make the leaks a little more obvious.
0 Snyperx
Well I just replaced my oil filter housing gasket on my 2006 this weekend. Dealer wanted to charge me like $650 to replace it cause of a tiny tiny leak. The gasket is a $20 part and I did it myself. Not sure if my knowledge can help you on your car though. 0 Morzada
See below, post 18, for the oil filter housing leak. Applicable to M42 engine. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1618485&highlight=oil+filter+housing I just did mine on my 328 last summer. One of the simpler jobs. Take off the oil filter cap first (lets the oil drain out of the housing).
