SamHolzmann
My 84 e30 came with the square c101 plug running from the fuse box and want to convert to the round later model e30 c101 plug. If anyone has ever done this and could give some insight about the subject it would be much appreciated.

0 straight6pwr
cleanest/easiest way is to use an engine side plug of a square c101 and wire it to the c101 plug to make an adapter. just use the pin locations to match the correct wires, as wire colors will not all match. http://www.akgmotorsport.com/e30convpins.html

0 GunMetalGrey
I did this on a friends 84 318 for his m50 swap, just put the square plug onto the motor harness because there is a lot more wire to work with if you don't get it right the first time.
