I personally can't make it but the event starts at 5:30pm and goes until whenever. Hopefully Jeff will see this and comment with any more info. Jeff F Posted August 12, 2014 Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 Yes indeed, tomorrow night, Tuesday, August 12, 2014, is BMW and MINI Night featuring Badger Bimmers at the Highland House in Mequon. There is a group of BMWs (mostly 2002's) coming up again from Chicago. Last year we had about 90 BMWs and MINIS at the show, almost every type well represented. Along with about 90 cars of other types... It was a great event. The weather forecast looks like morning rain that will be all cleared out by early afternoon. then mid-70's temperatures. That will bring out a ton of people - we've been filling up almost every week lately. So the earlier you can arrive the more likely you will get a decent place to park. We officially start the show at 5:30 but we usually have a few people there already at 4:30. We do door prizes at 7:00pm and many people leave after that, between 7:30 and 8:00. The restaurant has asked me to ask everyone to please not bring in alcoholic beverages or tailgate-type picnics to the show. Possessing open alcohol containers in the parking lot is illegal, however so far the law has looked the other way, although the Mequon Police stop in every week. The restaurant is willing to take the risk with alcoholic beverages purchased there, however they understandably do not want to take that risk for no reward. And since they are a restaurant, they would really like it if you bought your food from them I know it's a bit of a pain sometimes, but there are precious few other options for a 225-space parking lot we can use for a free car show every week.
