I just replaced my transmission mounts and took a short cut by not removing the exhaust and letting it hang. The result is a broken exhaust. I was going to take it to Wisconsin Muffler on Lincoln but I was not impressed with their phone manners and don’t really trust them with my car. What I have is one cracked and one broken pipe right where the stock exhaust meets my Billy Boat SS cat back. I would like to take it somewhere local (I don’t trust the hangers at this point) and am considering having it towed. Any suggestions? Someone should be able to help you out, man.I saw that thread. It was for a floor. I know welding SS to steel is different than steel to steel. I have a dual voltage miller diversion 180 tig and I would say I do pretty well for teaching myself(nearly).
