Nice car I was gonna grab this for a DD but could never get a return from the owner

A complete PPI, that includes a complete scan of the car ( every module gets scanned and printed with codes),CBS, and complete inspection of every component on the vehicle cost $100 at my work, I don't know if you can beat that price with only doing PPI cause a basic autologic cost over 10,000 think about how many PPI it would take to pay that off or even on the cheap TIS is 3000 a year to have access to Bmw info, plus the cost of rent for the building heating and electricity, it doesn't pay unless your fixing the car too just my 2 cents

I have H&R sports on my wife's E60 with stock struts, almost 2 years now and it rides smoother than stock and almost tucks 18" wheels, most people that ride in it don't even know it's lowered

BC springs are rated different as they are a cheap company and they devalve quickly,I'm speaking from a point of view not as a owner, several guys I track with had or have BC's and are looking to change, one example is a friends s2000 had BC's on it,it is strictly a track car, springs lost there rating (got soft) after 5 track days so he bought swift springs, a year later the BC's started leaking so now he is also on AST4200's, like I said I personal haven't experienced it but I have friends who have the track is way harder on suspension then people think
-
Just for reference I run 12k up front and 14k rear ast4200 on a hyperco spring with dampening at 6 on slicks at RA and it improved my lap time by 1.5 sec as to running pss9's revalved to pss10 and H&R 60mm springs 9kF 10kR
-
You pick what rate you want from 4 different spring company's H&R Swift HyperCoil or one other brand I can't think of off the top of my head, you can get 5 to 14 for rates and 60mm springs to 2.5 springs for hight, anything you want you get, soild upper rear mounts 12 way dampening camber plates pillow ball mount for the lower mount of the rear Sturt's, building a pss9 or a BC coilver to match would cost just as much in the end, most budget coilovers come with BS spring rates like 7 and 8
-
A true track car should have ast4200's best bank for your buck, Billy's and gc's are nice but you don't have camber adjustment and you are limited to dampening with Billy's

Finally got my pictures developed from memorial weekend in Door County. There are also a few from a roll I took hanging out with TJ sometime last year. They'r not the best, but they were all taken with my 1981 Minolta Hi Matic AF2. I need to learn more about ISO settings
(instagram shot of the camera)
My cottage is right by that boat in door county that's really funny you took pics of that I have pics of my e60 and M3 on the pier next to that boat

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going 1/2 cage bolt in and wanting to do track days, starting next year PCA ( porsche club of America) is no longer allowing 4 point cages, racing seats, half gutted cars in the advance groups, YOU MUST HAVE A FULL CAGE/ RACE CAR, and I can tell you know that if PCA is doing it with in the next 2 years BMWCCA and others will follow, now it's just a rumor floating around but I guess PCA is going to test this at there next event to see how people react to it, so mod accordingly and read the newest rules for the events your attending, I was instructing at the ITR EXPO at RA in June, and only instructors and advanced group could run slicks, HPDEs are going to get tighter and tighter on rules as cars are getting faster, Just a heads up, my car currently has a 1/2 cage and I'm going to full NASA cage this winter.
