I followed an e46 m3 getting on 43 north when I was leaving the quaker steak car night. Looked like he had an exhaust but he never opened it up that I could tell.

The car came with no belt so I was concerned the compressor was seized. Much to my surprise I threw a belt on her on Tuesday during my lunch and the ac works fine!

Heres my favorite picture (of my car that is). This pretty much captures the feeling of the entire weekend from the pre-scooters LS cookout to the meet itself.
And heres the flickr album that Jay took

I would say that pretty well sums it up! It was a riot the whole time! I wish I could have stayed the whole night. It was awesome meeting a bunch of you guys! I really can't wait to get together again now!

I'll be there tonight. StewCrew will be there too.
Nice! I'll be over about 9 tonight when I get out of work!

Anyone going to the pre scooters g2g at the LS headquartes tonight?
-
Never even caught that. I guess I was most shocked at the amount of aftermarket parts he has on a car like that!

Petrolicious does a really nice job on some really interesting cars and this is no different. Found it on Jalopnik today.

Just saw a gorgeous alpine white e87 135i on hwy 100 tonight. It had the most AMAZING exhaust note! I talked to him real quick at a stop light and all I got out of him was it had an HPF exshaust. When I asked him if it had any other HPF parts he just smiled and said yes. It was damn fast!

My friend Ken's widebody+supercharged e46 is up for trade. Sad panda :/
http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/3795164454.html
And another e46 with a lot of monies thrown at it
That sucks he couldn't get the e46 finished. Never like to see an unfinished project up for sale.

I'd have to say that of all the Forums out there WI BIMMERS is the best laid out one!
Kudos to the creator and all the hard work!
+1
I spend more time on this forum than any other!

You definitely don't need or want backpressure.
You've got half of it. In a boosted application you don't need to worry about backpressure but you still want it. The turbo itself creates the backpressure and exhaust resonance necessary for scavenging in the cylinder head.
A 3" pipe with an 18" resonator, no cat, and a nice free flowing magnaflow would sound great:)
This sounds like a good idea to me! My brother in law ran 2 magnaflows on his A6 2.7t and it sounded like a beast!

I know who that is. A mutual friend told me he blew his engine once and it wasnt covered under warranty. Thats about 30k I believe.
Ouch! $30k!?!? I couldn't imagine hearing that estimate from a shop.

Saw a blue F10 M5 in Mukwonago a few days ago, followed by a white E46 M3.
I'm pretty sure the guy with the F10 has an e39 M5 as well. If it's the same guy then he traded in his e60 M5 for the F10.

i posted this in my thread, but i wanted to share the location of this cool bridge which i found randomly driving around yesterday.
its a public road in Greendale which crosses the bridge so no shenanigans are involved putting your car on it. should look pretty once everything turns green.
I just drove down this a couple days ago! I live off of 92 and Layton and got bored one day and found this down the road.

I take it you heard that from Justin? I've given a coupe of people rides just at my shop. Hahah I just got home from the LSHQ just now actually. You were the one who did my ball joints right? I thought Justin said that but I can't remember hahah. If so, thank you!
Yep that was me! Anytime man! I keep hearing about your car from Justin, Brian and Shane. Hopefully I'll get to see it one of these days.

Oh I miss gettin slideways in my s13. I've heard this car is pretty wicked from some mutual friends! Looks good man!

Had a black e36 m3 park next to me at gyros west in Waukesha yesterday about 12:30 pm.

this would be the only time in your life you could buy an AWD e34 touring: (1 of 3 in the US)

It's a shame it's not in better shape.

Absolutely ridiculously low miles and a no option, no sunroof car... Holy grail e46 M3!

I saw a dark red 2002 with no diving boards on Layton near hwy 100 while running with my dog today. I stopped dead and gave the old guy drivin it a thumbs up! He smiled and gave me a nod.

Look at this gem...
Just stumbled upon this on craigslist... My favorite part is "completely driveable. Well worth the money." How the hell did somebody think this was a good idea long enough to create this abomination.

Oh that's just gorgeous!

It was $35 for 2 pulls but the strap broke on my first run so they actually did 3. The second run I did 194whp and the 3rd was the print out I have od 192whp. I couldn't have been more excited! I was expecting 170ish so 192 blew me away.
