at least common sized coilover springs and cheap and easy to replace!

I vote turbo! with that budget you could have an incredibly reliable setup, and even 300whp would be pretty insane in a 2002, and 300whp can be VERY reliable on an m20 on pump gas. very simple and at that power level nearly instant spool with the right parts.

any reason you are unable to do it yourself? I'm not sure if this is an obvious question.

Are you not going to use a dual ear diff cover?

Good choice. Nearly everyone In our building has one of those, and I own one as well.

I'm very happy to see it take this route! I never thought having full insurance on an e30 was worthwhile though, but maybe as prices of these tripled in the last 3 years, it might be worthwhile now?

That fucking car started out at $4500, then went to $3500, and is now up to $8k lol
I asked the dude, and hes like, "I did some maintenance and Mods like the wheels"
those are thrashed works that have been though like 5+ people. haha. I'm sure he didn't do anything crazy to it.

Now I'm confused. You are plugging the stock IAT port, and putting a vacuum line on it? I assume you are going to a GM style IAT sensor mounted on your charge piping?

could I get a link? Didn't know someone did this. would have saved some time for sure.

Looks like I will be doing the secondary air pump delete next week once I get the block off plates in the mail. CEL came on for the switch being stuck closed/open. I also dabbled in the tuning aspect for subarus. Pretty neat that you can do anything and everything with a OBD2 to usb "tactrix" cable and some free software on a laptop.
If you haven't bought a tactrix yet, I modified a 10$ ebay vag com cable and I can flash and log my wrx with great success.
The amount of open source tuning available to subaru's, and how much the community is involved and helps, just blows my mind. Its phenomenal.

heard it was a pile and the dude who currently owns it a real piece of work. Think hes drift king and he works at a parts store.

Where have I heard that name before? From what ive researched, if you tap into an existing + from an ABS sensor then you need to amplify the signal like you mentioned the other day. Dialing in the amplification on that link I texted you looks like it requires an oscilloscope and an electrical engineering degree which is why I suggested making a bracket to mount a standalone wheel speed sensor.
he is a BF.C frequent user that has helped answer a few of my questions and knows his stuff.
I remember he used some signal converter that was cheap and got it to work great. Just facebook him or get him on BF.C. He will answer your question without any head scratching.

very much so fun in the winter, but only after you combat some understeer haha. the LSD is okay.

I've seen many tourings listed for around 6K now a days. Some even as cheap as 5k. Definitely going to add one to the stable in the future.

were even matching in color ha. Wish I had the 2.5 though, the 2.0 is such a dog.

Okay I lied maybe I don't want that haha. My used siebon CF hood was 100$ in great condition(only bought CF because cheap) and my headlights(both) were 100$ used , fender shipped to me was 65$
parts are NOT NOT cheap new, but plenty of used stuff around.
But don't hit anything. Really sucks to replace the core support. But you know this with your old bmw haha. -
Maybe I should swap my front end with this front end so Its more of a sleeper look.. haha. Good daily's though! I know for a fact an lsx and a m50/zf will fit in the back at the same time!
Was real interesting when I got pulled over with all that nonsense in the back.
first thing cop says, "what the hell could you be doing with a v8 and a vacuum cleaner in your car?"- Bassboy3313 and B C
