Earl
What do you guys recommend? I'm thinking Hawk or Akebono. I'm looking for something with significantly less dust and a little more bite. The pads that the PO used when doing the brakes warp when heated the slightest and they are very dusty. Edit: Don't even know if this would be a good idea to buy and test the quality- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Rear-All-4-Drilled-Slotted-Brake-Rotors-Ceramic-Brake-Pads-E36-/320921145158?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A318ti&hash=item4ab8640f46&vxp=mtr Edited August 20, 2012 by Earl
0 REKIII
I've never bought pads for dust, however I have used hawk and always liked their performance and lack of squealing.
0 Earl
Hows the dust with them?
0 Brian.
Ceramic brake pads are dust free, thank god. They will squeel if you brake hard, alot. But idc. I'd rather not have brake dust issues. That any they brake HARD. I had them on my police interceptor, an that thing stopped on a dime. Then again I had 15" rotors. 0 Brian.
I say go for it. Fuck price. Hawk pads are worth the money. I had them on my 76 drag truck, an that thing wasn't light. They stopped that thing in a jiffy. Do it up, an we'll have hawk pads together
