My axles are seized into the hubs of my M3 and I have been having the worst of luck getting them out. The first attempt was by hand and I bent the puller rod. I have since removed the entire trailing arm assembly and dragged them into two shops so far. The first with a 20 ton press and then the second with a 150 ton press to no avail. They now have been soaking in a bath of kroil oil for the past 3 weeks at hopes the 150 ton press will finally be enough to save my axles. Worst case scenario and last resort I burn them out. So my question is... .Will I need to buy a whole new/refurbished set of axles or does someone know where I can either have them rebuilt or buy just the outer CV housings with the splines?
