Guest bigjae1976
Does anyone know of a shop that can lengthen an E46 M3 driveshaft by 102mm for my 5 speed swap?
Brian.
Any driveshaft shop, near you SHOULD be able to do it. Aswell as balance it. That or just get the manual driveshaft. That'd be your best bet. And probably more cost effective..
Guest bigjae1976
Can I use an E36 M3 manual drive shaft?
wasnt m3
What is the car and what exactly are you swapping?
Guest bigjae1976
Bumping this. I have an E46 M3 which is a track car. Want to get rid of the heavy 6sp gearbox and swap in a lighter, rebuildable 5sp tranny from an 96+ E36 M3/328is or an early E46 330 (ZF320). Anyone have any experience with A-1 Driveshaft? 1990m3
I just had a driveshaft done at A-1 last week. It's installed already but it's a project track car that has never run, so it may be a while before i can tell you how it is. Looked good, nice guys, I'd go back unless I have some kind of catastrophic failure
