  1. Another track to consider is Putnam Park just SW of Indianapolis.  Newly repaved, smooth with excellent grip and great room for runoffs without much to worry about hitting.  They have been busy adding garage spaces too.  I was just there with Central Indiana region PCA for a weekend with frequent rain and thunderstorms Friday and Saturday and have a new appreciation for the idea of garage space.  It is a short 1.78 mi with 10 turns so a good place to work on technique.

It is about 5+ hours from the Milwaukee area

  2. The Milwaukee region PCA invites members of WI Bimmers to join them at Miller Park on Sunday June 25 and Sunday August 27 for the art of cone dodging known as Autocross.  We have a new timing system and expect the chance for more runs.  We have typically gotten 5 or 6 runs per session or more.

  3. Here are a few pics from this morning for you.  Thanks for letting me tag along as the token female.

I left for Umansky BMW for the Drive for a Cause - donation to Children's Hospital.  Drove the 340i with sport pkg.  Sounded good, handling similar to the e92 other than clipping the brake pedal when I went for the clutch that wasn't there.  Need to kill the nav though, I found it distracting and annoying.

  5. I've owned my E92 for almost 4 years and 90K miles. It's my daily driver year round.  I've taken it autocrossing with my friends in PCA and it's done touring laps at Road America.  I'm closing in on 125K this week and continue to enjoy driving it.  I may have even met some WIBimmers members as I have been to Blackhawk and Road America with the Bimmers over the last several years.
