  1. Cool. The harley class I heard is $300.

So the road america one is cheaper. Is it a weekend class? Or a 5 day one?

They have a lot of different options all throughout the warmer months. I took one of the weekend classes, which is two full days. They do offer weekday classes as well, which are typically night classes.

Here is their website for the class:

    http://www.roadamerica.com/experiences/motorcycle-schools/basic-rider-course.html

They will constantly update it as new classes are planned.

As an added bonus, if you go when there is an event taking place, you can watch the cars on the track after class without having to pay any admission costs.

  2. how do I find where to take motorcycle classes. or do they not open up until spring?

I would HIGHLY recommend Road America Motorcycle School. The instructors are awesome, and make it a lot of fun. I took the class this past summer and went into it with a decent amount of off road dirt bike riding, but there were others with no experience whatsoever, and they did very well by the end of the course. They have three different types of bikes to ride (cruiser, enduro, and dual sport) and you are able to try them all out. All are 200-250cc, which is exactly what you seem to be looking for. The cost was $250 and at the end they give you the completion form which you take to the DMV, take the computer quiz, and you have your license.

  3. Pretty sure I saw the Kaiser today bumming past MSOE, was on my bike couldn't get a pic

probably, had to get out of the msoe B-lot.

didnt get a parking ticket for once.

I definitely saw you as well. There is no getting away with anything in that e30 lol

  4. Do you have the specs of the hubcentric rings I will need? Are the same as hub bore adapters?

OD should be 74.1mm, ID should be 72.56mm

I ran e39 wheels on my e36 (same hub size as e28) with a set of plastic ones off of ebay and they worked perfectly

  5. Sorry its been so long for the reply. I took the covers in on a Friday and they were ready for me on the following Wednesday evening. Overall, I am very pleased with how they turned out. The coating looks exceptional and it was done in a very timely manner. I am a little disappointed in the lack of communication that B&K offered, however. I had emailed them as the first contact and received a response the very next day, stating that they would be willing to attempt it. I replied stating exactly what I wanted done and that they would be dropped off. I dropped them off that Friday. After hearing nothing for some time, I called on Tuesday and found out that they were already stripped and he would try to finish them by Wednesday. On Wednesday I was emailed that they were done. Despite the lack of communication without my nagging, I would not hesitate to do it again. I am very happy with the quality and the price seemed reasonable to me at $100. I would recommend to anyone considering getting their own powder coated.

A few pictures: (don't mind the dirty plastic engine covers)  EDIT: Only one picture would upload for some reason. If you want more, I can PM them.
