  1. i actually had this discussion with my wife this morning and she is buying me n54tuning dp's for my birthday in a couple weeks!

Word is they have a v.2. Make sure you get those. Because I got some of the original v.1 batch and the flange on the turbo side was to thick and they did not fit. Mike at n54tuning was very cool about exchangeing them for my current VRSF v.2's. Great customer service for sure.

  2. Ha! You read my mind! DP's are next on the list of go-fast parts!

You know me man... I love my front end hanging out my barn door! In a perfect world I want a set of HRE 505's or 107's but that's probably a bit out of my price range unless I can find a deal on a used set. I want to go with some kind of 5 spoke or split 5 spoke like an M Par style and I want to stick with 18" to keep tire pricing down. Until then I am going to rock my stock style 162's and maybe refinish them in a different color.

What downpipes are you thinking? FWIW I have VRSF and was happy with the fitment and finish. And the price is great.

  3. Didn't mean to offend you whatsoever, so my apologies if you took it that way.

Yes, I do read other forums and yes, I do know of the advancements being made. I like JB4 for the time being, but I'm waiting for things to become finalized before I make any switches.

Yea your condesending coment did offend me. I don't care what you run. You asked a question and I answered it. Either way I'm ready to run your car whenever you are.
  4. Bob convinced you, didn't he?

He doesn't even use COBB anymore...

I know what Bob is running. Also know that its just a cheaper alternative for people who want to run Wedge but dont want to spend the cash for a Cobb. No more performance to be had. And no Bob didn't convince me. Do you even read other forums. Do you have any idea of the leaps and bounds that have been made as far as what Ken and Dimitri are doing with the n54 platform since decideing to not tune with the jb4?
  5. ahahahahah nice! i'm so glad someone else had to do similar cutting. They make it sound like the cut is super clean but really there are a few pieces that need to be removed as you see in your photo.

That said, I've been a huge fan of my vrsf fmic and wonder why I ever paid for cobb's intercooler on my old n54[/quote

Yea I was kinda pussy footin it at first because it didn't feel right hackin at my car. But then I got a bit peeved that it wasn't fitting and said fuck it, it's all gotta go. After that it slid in like butter.
