B C
Im seeing different part numbers on MAF sensors for E36 engines M5X/S5X. Are any of them interchangeable? I believe they are all the same size and it wouldnt surprise me if they were actually interchangable.
0 jc43089
Very early cars had different ones with more pins I think. I have several regular ones if you need one. I think they are all the samr Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
0 Daggerty
All the same size early one had film style and newer had chip. Chip works with older but gives check engine light at times. Don't know if earlier ones work in newer ones.
0 B C
My M52 MAF has part number 13621703275 RealOEM shows this part number for a 323i (M52), 328i (M52), and M3 (S52). The part number for an M50tu MAF is 13621747155 Since I will be running OBD1, I am still trying to determine whether I can run an M52 MAF or whether I need an M50 MAF. I wont settle for something that works but is a little different, like using an M30 VAFM on an M20. I am hoping the Bentley manual has some voltage curves that I can compare ..... update The Bentley only lists what pins should have voltage/be grounded. No voltage output curve. The M50TU and M52 are hot film meters whereas the M50NV is a hot wire. I will keep looking for differences and information but I will probably end up running this M52/S52 sensor out of curiosity.
