I'm at UWM, as is the car. 414-204-3455.Hit up Rawsomotion in germantown. You can do the started yourself. I just helped my brother in August do his starter on his 1991 525i. So probably a very similar if not the same job. You remove the intake manifold and coolant hoses/whatever is in your way. and remove the starter. Can be done in under 2 hours. Start to finish. jc43089 Posted October 2, 2014 Report Share Posted October 2, 2014 3/8" 12pt wrench will hold the torx head bolts on the trans side, just get it in place and let it hit the bell housing to keep the bolt from turning and you will be able to remove the nuts from the engine side.
