if you get me the bearing and the exact dimension you want i can throw it on an id grinder at work

This would be interesting to see how well it works, the bearing material is so soft that it might gum it up.  It clogged the stones of the brake cylinder hone in seconds even with lots of oil.

The first machining would be just to get it close. When you press the bearing in its going to change the inner diameter a little. With the bearing pressed in use the brake cylinder hone to get it within tolerance. To do it right you need to machine it with the the bearing pressed into the block. I might try and press it in and use the cnc machine here at school.
