Enthusiast Auto Group out of Cincinnati has you both covered. (I know they're too pricey, but given the condition and reputation of EAG you truly do get what you pay for.

Price tag is a little higher, but the condition warrants it.

Thanks for the inspiring words, Brian. I'm afraid to ask what else you've done in a parking lot...
@Jawa, I'm looking for someone in the Madison area to help me with the job, not do it completely.

Willing to pay a reasonable amount for assistance.

The side mirror is back on! It took some blunt force rather than just pushing really hard.
Thanks for the tip!

Ok thanks, I'll give it another try...

Hey all,
I was in Chicago this weekend and came to my car after not driving it for 3 days to find that my driver side mirror popped off. There was no collision damage so I'm assuming somebody tried to force it off, or maybe the windy city got the best of it. As you can see in the picture it's hanging on by the wire and all three of the pins are in tact. I've read a few posts that say "just muscle it in", but it seems that I'm pushing into nothing. The pins aren't engaging with the sockets, at all.
Any insight into this fix would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Jordan
"M For All" Business Idea
in BMW Discussion
Posted
Hey all,
I've been thinking about an idea for a business and wanted to reach out to the real experts for some validation...
Here are my assumptions:
1. BMW M models, old and new, are some of the most realistic "dream cars" on the market.
2. The general population is scared of the technical knowhow, maintenance and costs associated with owning one.
3. With the right due diligence anybody should be able to realize their ability to own their dream car (a BMW M).
4. A comprehensive PPI and minimal investment before buying will generally provide a positive driving experience.
Do you agree with my assumptions or have others to add? My goal is to help people who have a passion for driving realize that their dream car can be had. The business model I have in mind would involve using BMW communities (like wibimmers), tech schools and other specialty garages to raise the standard of the pre-purchase process all the while lowering the barrier to buy an M car.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
