  1. Swapped out my cabin filter yesterday! Man that thing was disgusting!

I also went to align my car last week and found this gem goin on.

Luckily I have a friend at a body shop that is going to cut that and weld in a new piece for me that I ordered.

  2. Post pictures Of 240. A few of us actually had some!

Here's a couple shots of the car when I first bought it in 2008. The stickers were on it when I bought it as well. I can't seem to find any shots of the turbo set up I had right now but I'll keep looking!

  3. Nice car!! Saw that on craigslist for a bit, glad someone around here scooped it up.

    M bumper is a must.

Yea I found it a couple hours after he posted it and bought it 3 days later! Something he neglected to tell me was that the new alternator in it happened to be the wrong alternator and I found out when the car almost died on hwy 894! Luckily I limped it in to my garage, charged the battery and swapped in the bigger bosch alternator. On the plus side I found out it wired for the factory car phone! haha

An M bumper is definitely on my list but that's low on my priority list until next spring/ summer.

    Priority list:

    1. Go faster

    2. Look better doing it

  4. That is such a great car. My friend out west had a 98 328i sedan just like that. He gave it the M3 front bumper and DS2 wheels, did ground control suspension and man did that thing look and handle amazing! The M52 is just an awesome engine too, really nice torque curve.

Do you have any plans for modifications, track days, etc?

What lake is that btw? Im not from around here and am still learning the lay of the land.

I'm actually getting an M50 intake manifold for it tomorrow from member merton and after the holiday's i'm planning on ordering a cai from my buddy's at Axis racing and a shark injector chip. I just want to keep it simple for now. With the M Technik suspension on it she already handles pretty good but i'm always looking for better!

The lake is Phantom Lake in Mukwonago. Some great driving roads out there but the cops are a PIA!!

  5. Just picked her up on Friday and I'm in love! I'll apologize for the quality of the shots now because they were all on my phone today but hopefully having a proper shoot this weekend.

Pretty stock for now but mods to come soon!

    As she sits...

  6. After owning an s13 240sx and an E36 at the same time I'd have to say the bimmer definitely handled better but my 240sx was an absolute blast to hoon! After driving a few E30's as well I'd say that car is close to as much fun as the 240sx. Both cars just have a wonderful mechanical feel!

  7. they guy selling the 535 is a friend of mine, any questions besides what was outlined in the ad?

No questions he hasn't already answered for me. I'm really excited to look at it on Monday. I hope it's as good as it looks in the photos!

  8. Hi everyone!

New to the forum but not to BMW's! I cut my teeth in auto tinkering building a turbo Nissan 240sx which I recently sold. After blowing up my dd corolla I purchased my first BMW, a 95 325is about 3 years ago! I fell in love and I have been a diehard bimmer fan since! I'm currently selling my 325is and picking up a 91 535i 5spd this coming Monday. I've worked as a professional technician for the past 6 years which means i've managed to turn my passion into a career! As soon as I pick up my new toy I'll get pictures up!
