*cough* meetings cancelled today. *cough* day off *cough* ...what. :-). Headed to Appleton today to test drive an M4 for fun.. Some email I got from BMW to drive a new BMW to support Team USA. Must be just a sales event but if they are going to let me drive one I'm not going to argue. Lol

1969 BMW 2002 Spotted at the Iola Car show this past weekend. This car is from Stevens Point...the same town as me. With only a population on 20,000 I'm guessing it doesn't get out much since I've never seen it.

Since the e46 is was looking at sold I stopped in at Bergstrom in Appleton today. Was just looking but they have some pretty quick acting dealers there. Was checking out this manual red 2006 325i. I thought it would be pretty cool to own the same thing for an E30 and an E90. It was my first time in the driver seat of an E90 and I loved it. Punched some numbers with the dealer and decided I'm going to pay off my credit card before I add this $400 payment. So in 6 months I'll be getting an E90 like this sexy beast. I can't wait!
For anyone else looking for a new ride it's got 43k on the clock. BMW Certified pre-owned for $19,960. Pretty good deal in my book.

So, the dealership sold the car before I could get there.. Sad day. But on the bright side I can just buy a starter and save up some more money for a nicer car.

There are companies who specifically rent race prepped cars for the nurburgring. http://www.rent-racecar.de/ is one.
No amount of Forza will prepare you for the real thing. It'll help but likely will make you cocky and foolish. I only say that because I've experienced it first hand. I almost crashed in a buddies STI because he went too fast because he "knew the track from Forza". Nevertheless, even driving safe it's often the other stupid drivers that crash into you! And a M3 in euros would not be fun to try and pay off.
I was joking about the Forza 3. I know it will be nothing in real life. Never the less, I've been talking to my friend over there. He knows some nice country roads to practice on. Ha

Does the Ring offer rental cars? I know you can catch rides with drivers, but if they rented cars that'd be sick!
That would be sick. I doubt they rent cars to race. To much of a risk.

I am selling my 2007 335xi with 142,000 miles. 300HP twin turbo. Comes with an extra set of mounted Blizzak winter tires.
All fluids (Brake, Transmission, Diff, Transfer case) flushed Jan 2018
New fuel injectors Oct 2018
New water pump, thermostat and coolant hoses June 2019
Have new brakes I'll be installing later this week or comes with car if it sells that fast.
currently, the driver side exterior door handle will not work. the cable inside the door came off the hanger and needs to be re-attached.
Aside from some scratches and a few other cosmetics, the car is in great condition.
KBB has a top dollar for $7,500. I'm asking $7,000 or best offer.
