if i ever felt like it was time to be a reasonable person and stop driving e36's i would have to choose between a countryman, s1 elise, v8 genesis, Lada 1600, and a z4 coupe that said i have not yet driven the ford st or the subie xt although im sure the focus drives very well with a ton of lift off oversteer and the subie is like every subie very reliable save for the every 65,000 mile catastrophic break down and having a driving experience wrot with deadly understeer. it seems to me the rallyart lancer would fit the bill for you nicely or perhaps an a3?

the water under the circle track is less than 3 feet deep that combined with more than a foot of ice makes the chances loosing a car extremely doubtful. like earl said the last time we went up there we opened up some holes in late spring and the guys that work the track up there had no issues cleaning up the track with there #8000 plow trucks

might want to be more specific with your question but also it seems there are a ton of guys buying ajustable coilovers these days for no reason. there are a lot of great springs and struts out there don't rule them out, some of the best handling cars and also some of the lowest cars out there dont have ajustable suspensions just because your friends jump off a clif doesnt mean you neet to

well im screwed and I guess im ok with that but please dont kick me off the fourms for asking you to remove topics that start "can i drive a bmw in winter" because i find things like that personaly offensive and totaly worthless to the community

TJ and i have owned more cars that most of you put togather if you want a good DD get a e46 touring if you can find one but 323's are a good choice too but the tourings get more chicks. Anyone that recomends a e36 as a good dd is simply foolish its the same as telling someone that e30, any rear drive volvo, e21, e31, e24, or e28's make good dd I'm not saying they arnt good cars but you have to love them in order to put up with them every day. if you really can't aford an e46 buy an e34 528.
