  1. My wife said she saw a red E30 325i on her way to downtown this morning. Im guessing maybe it was "thor:it"

Wasn't me, my e30 is hibernating until spring. Can't wait for the snow and salt to disappear!

"thor:it" haha, that name has to go. In all my haste to join in the community, it was the first name that came to mind, and it's dumb. Who knows how to change usernames?

  2. Thanks again guys, the itinerary they have set up for me is going to be awesome I think.

Letm ek now if you want any tips for vegas. I'm no expert but I've been there a few times.

Any and all tips welcome! I've never been so I don't know what is really worth seeing and what isn't. Bet on Red at the roulette wheel?
  3. I'm going to do a timing belt, misc belts, and water pump replacement first weekend of October on my 1990 325is.

I should have all the tools necessary, including a 36mm cone wrench for the fan bolt. Any parts I'm missing or anything else I should do while I'm in there? I attached a screenshot of my shopping cart but it's tiny. Here's the list

    - Water Pump, Single Outlet (uses metal impeller) NOTE: Also use one 11-51-1-722-677-M17 gasket, 325/e/es/i/is/iC/iX (9/87-92)

    - Belt, for Wing Cell A/C Compressor, 13 X 810, 318i (1984-85), 325/e/es/i/is/iC/iX (1984-91), M3 (1987-91), 633CSi (1978-03/84)

    - Belt, Power Steering 10 X 825, E30 323i Euro, 325/e/es, 325i/is/iC/iX Brand: Contitech

    - Timing Belt Kit (includes tensioner), 325/e/es/i/is/iC/iX (1984-91), Brand: Contitech

    - Belt, Alternator 10 X 965, E30 325/e/es, 325i/is/iC/iX (1984-91) Brand: Contitech

  4. Thanks for all your help! I won the contest, which means I have a trip for two to vegas (for the rallycross championships), they're putting my design on their car, and I won a wheelset from Motegi. So awesome!

  5. Aw man Tom, I should have followed those directions, definitely would have helped with clarity.

Not sure if my design is what Motegi is looking for, but in the popular vote I'm currently second by a narrow margin, so that's good! There will probably be a big push by every contender in the last week, so I could use more! I'll know by Sept. 12th if I win. I've never been to Vegas, so who knows how I'll react! Should probably leave my wallet at home haha.

I made a red version too, which is more in line with the Motegi brand colors. Check it out:

  6. Thanks Ryan! Fun little side project. If I win they'll put my design on their car and I get a trip to Vegas for the Global RallyCross Championships end of September. Facebook garbled the hell out of my upload, here's a crisper version:

  7. It's not BMW related, but it's car related so I figure I'll post it here. I just entered a design contest for a vinyl wrap on Motegi Racing's new Ford Fiesta RallyCross car.

The top 3 Facebook likes in the contest move into the final round of judging. I could use some likes to stay at the top of the pack. Who wants to help a fellow bimmer out?!

Just follow the link below and like the image, that's all you need to do!

    thanks!

  8. After the heartbreaking Brewer's game on Sunday I stopped by waterway to take a couple photos underneath the Bluemound bridge in the Menomonee valley. These are kind of inaccurate to the true colors but I liked how the images popped.
