Welcome, nice Arctic grey, looks really good on E36's! I'm sorta in your neck of the woods, I'm in the oshkosh area!

Love it with the polished wheels. Looks way better then those black wheels. I like this car alot Bax, keep this one!

Alternators are pricey. Anyone know of any way to use a different one, or know of a way to get one cheaper? A hook up on an alternator would be great. Thanks guys!

Lol. If I'm gunna replace this radio it won't be for a factory replacement. I'll drop a good amount on a touch screen/sat nav

Both my beater e28 an nice E28 are reliable as shit! But they suck in deep snow.. :-/

Do you have a business class cd with the Harmon kardon sound system?
yes and yes.
-
have you tried turning it off and on
I would have, but can't turn the radio off, if it' isn't on!
Although, I haven't tried a battery pull yet. So I guess that's next? lol.

I honestly love having an E28 that, I don't mind setting a engine on the decklid of, little 2 year old girls throwing a screw driver at the door, door dings. Putting in the ditch. Etc. It's nice not having to worry about the small things, while my nice E28 and the E46 stay at home/in my shop.

Factory. It worked flawlessly in the 40's and 50's. But once it started to drop in the 30's and lower, it once in a while did this, now with this cold snap it always does it. It's semi annoying, because turning the car on an off doesn't always work. And that uses more gas then it's worth.

Radio won't turn on in cold. Gotta heat car up. Turn off, then back on. Ideas?
I tried googling my symptoms, but couldn't find much... And the little bit I did find, wasn't helpful

When do you plan on being up and running with the HX35?
What HP/PSI are you planning on
What are you doing for fuel management
I wanted to be up an running by late spring. But Idk. Might make it wait..
Shooting for 450rwhp daily, an whatever I can Max it at for shenanigans.
Fuel management, stand alone fuel management. Possibly full stand alone if money allows!
Right now I've got my eye on a ratrod build. So I may swing into that project first

Those look minty!

Can you do full frames on a frame table?I have a JB Welder in case you need some custom fab work.
-
Yeah it'll be built by me, on a Budget. I'm not a fan of outsourcing the work to someone else if I know how to do it. I'm gunna shoot for sub $10k. Hopefully less.

Hodge podge turbo builds are cool, if done on a car that no one gives 2 fucks about. but as a daily as well as a touring, I'd suggest going a legit build, if he were to even go turbo route.
Also, double check it's a B35 head. Could be a B34, not a biggie, but that little bit would go a long way!
