  1. Whoa whoa whoa.....how is that possible!  You ripped, berated and ruthlessly insulted those who use a diesel for ANYTHING other than towing.  I see trickery going on here.

    I was a douche. I get it.

Does anyone know of any good or less expensive shops where I can have the head gasket done? and not kummrow automotive.

I was given an off the top of of the head estimate here in saukville and the guy said $2000-3000. which doesn't surprise me but definitely way too high.

  2. Selling your truck?  You went on that epic journey to find and buy it!!  Also, you cropped the trailer out of all the pics, WTF?

I'll let friends know about it, they are always looking for a quality diesel.

My fiancé and I decided that we are going to live there. and I bought the truck for winter vehicle. So I will have no use for it and I already got a free car to last me through winter.

the was no trailer in any of the pictures.

It really is a great truck and I will be bluntly honest. I am losing money on the asking price.

  3. Not dead guys, just dealing with lots of stuff.  I eneded up moving out of my shop space awhile ago because the guy I rented from turned into a total douche canoe.  Currently fabbing up a 4x4x2 three burner setup I can run out of my garage.  I'll post on here when I'm all set.  Thanks for your concern, and we'll be rolling again soon enough.

Let me know. Because I'd rather have my exhaust headers properly painted rather than me doing it with a rattle can.

  4. Seems to be fine for now.  Wife drives it mostly and hasn't complained.  Being a non-turbo, I'm assuming the engine is more smooth than the torquey turbodiesel.

I'm sure the output on her engine is close to that ecodiesel. It's a small V6 from italy.

  5. Mileage really isn't a concern.  My F150 gets around 11.8 and the SRT got around 13.5.  It really can't be worse than that, even if we supercharge it.  Power is the downgrade from the SRT, everything is far superior with the new chassis.  8 speed automatic is pretty neat.

How is the 8 speed for you?

When I test drove a RAM 1500 ecodiesel. I absolutely hated that 8 speed. It was slow to respond, couldn't pick a gear and wasn't as smooth as the only automatic I've ever owned (allison transmission).

  6. Nothing wrong with non-bmw's. Especially if you need a vehicle that gets work done.

I test drove 4 different 2015 F-150 3.5 ecoboosts this saturday. That truck has me tempted to get rid of my 2005 duramax. same towing/payload with a smoother ride.

He did a complete straight pipe on my car for cash (10ft stick of steel. he did all bends and install for 100-150). and he fixed my girlfriends car when her pipe broke in the middle for $70. and he recently added a muffler to my brothers car so it would pass noise inspection and my brother is a cheap ass and was very satisfied with the work and the price.

I will be going to the guy again soon to have him finish up my cars exhaust on my e21

  8. I'd have to look up labor but I assume its more than 10 hours with everything you need done. Call another shop and get a quote. I assume they won't even do it over the phone and would need to see the car in person.

a shop quoted me $2000-3000. at that point I will just wait until jake is free'd up and have him do it. I know his labor for 15 hours would be $750.
