Does anyone in her Excel at it? I have been working on these wheels for weeks only for them to come out sub par every time...I'm sick of it and am crying for help. I dont want to sand any more material off trying new things. If you are amazing at polishing or know someone, let me know. I want as mirror as possible and have accompolished it, but had lines:( help me out family
Im no expert but once I get past a 2000 wet sand I switch to rubbing compounds and polish

I have access to one... Im out in waukesha. I'll see what I can do for arrangements, but it wont be until next week earliest
I am still just down the street from you, I would be interested in making use of it. Just let me know what it would cost and all. If it would be too much of a hassle then no worries. I am in the process of building my own smoke tester.

Yeah, great shots!

I picked up a set of German Engineering coilovers, which are much like the Ground Control "kit".
Does anyone have experience with shortening strut housings? Any good welders here?
I'm diving into this head first with no flipping clue as to what to do. From what I've read on r3vlimited, I don't HAVE to modify anything. But running shortened housings and shorter (iX) struts/shocks I'd be able to go lower...
If you want to respect the roll centers of the car then I would suggest not slamming it. If you do, the springs and sway bars will need to be stiffer than they would normally need to be in order to keep body roll in control. I am going to go weigh my car again soon and calculate the roll-centers and try to determine exactly what is too low (at least for my car). At least with coilovers you have the option to slam it for looks then bring it to a more proper height for performance sake

I'll be down to be included I'm the caravan. I'm obviously south of you all however.
I will likely be coming from somewhere closer to Poowaukee but must experience what its like to share the road with other chariots of God. Is it bad that I get excited when I think I see an E30 coming down the road but then am disappointed when I realize its an E34?

Has anything been decided as to a Milwaukee caravan yet?
How about meeting at the Pick n' Save parking lot downtown?

This is hopefully going to be a good showing: http://www.wibimmers.com/board/showthread.php?827-E30-GTG-in-Pewaukee-on-Saturday-June-16th-FREE-FOOD-YO!
I plan on making this, and just hope I can have some of the goodies installed before then.
^^^ Yep, sounds like that will be a good one, the weekend before is the show at Concours BMW (June 9th). I have never been but I plan on going there this year.

Hey man! Glad you made it over here from R3V. I helped my friend do a late model bumper swap not too long ago. Is that an olds 442 in the garage? What part of WI are you in? There are lots of E30 parts for sale on the classifieds right now btw

Does anyone have access to a smoke tester or know a shop that has one?

Oh Brian, I think you need to spend some time out here in the booneys with me
Birds were chirping when we started these shenanigans. By the end they all died and we had turned the grass brown and the neighbors were not happy. Not one bit I tell ya
I AM out in the booneys! I figured we would have crossed paths sooner, especially with all the angry noisy U-turns I make on 164 for no reason.

If thats goin on down der in teh non-hick side then I dont think im prepared to see what goes on in the hick side

I've banned a couple spammers, I dont know about any contributing members though.
They were probably just some nice people trying to hook you up with a sweet deal on a jailbroken iPhone.
-
Have you banned anyone yet?

ill try to be there, just so you fools can see me

loving the way the e28 spoiler looks from the side profile.
I am also loving the fact that you have seemingly reached that unreachable point for a car guy. The point at which you are satisfied with what you have. (see also: Ryan's sig) I have a ways to go yet
Cant wait to see it in June
also, what kind of camera do you have? My Kodak funsaver isn't putting out like that.

Is the buyer of your M3 local? rather, will you be seeing your old car driving around the area, causing you anguish and suffering?
-
Id definitely like to check out that e34

You can buy E30 before then. Do work son.
or even a B13 Sentra

I got the warning but proceeded and nothing bad is showing up when I run Malwarebytes.

Welcome my fellow e30 owner!
The vert looks to be in very nice shape! You don't see too many cars with the oxblood interior.
Is it a cali car? looks to nice to have lived in the midwest its whole life.
I am guessing its an automatic, if so I just finished a manual swap over the winter and have a bunch of leftover parts in case you need anything locally. I really need to put together a proper for sale thread but haven't done so yet.
I have a torque convertor, radiator, < 6 month old trans mounts, ABS pump, ABS computer, washer fluid reservoir, coolant reservoir, coolant level sensor, auto trans guts, non-ellipsoid engine bay plastic cover pieces, factory airbox setup, 6 button OBC with working backlight, good idle control valve, intake boot, brake master cylinder, brake booster and some other random items.
Im always open to trading parts if you have any spares to trade.
Hope to see you around sometime

M front bumper would look great! Car looks very good otherwise. I like that color a lot. A minor window tint would help tie in with the darkness of the headlights and blacked out grille.
What are your goals for the car?
