Besides Zimbrick where is a good shop that works on bimmmers and ideally isn't as expensive as the dealership? Any idea what an average cost per hour of labor should be? Thanks

Is this the general method? Saw this posted on another forum:
"Also don't forget to depressurize the fuel system: Pull fuse 11 (I think that's what it is.) and start the engine, the car will consume the remaining fuel in the line and die on it's own, next pop open the gas cap."

Thanks guys. Stock radio. It has 10 disc cd changer in the trunk. (Rad, I know lol). Is the Radio's ground wire near the deck or antenna?

Thanks for the links, GunMetalGrey, and the responses. This is the first I've found the pre-bent gas lines. And yep much cheaper than I thought.
@GunMetalGrey, do you have any install tips or online resources that you could point me to?

Thanks guys. This didn't resolve the radio whine. Does anyone have any tips to resolve that issue? Also right now only my rear left speaker puts out audio. The rest just good 'ol whine!

Looking under my car, the fuel feed line is thickly rusted over to the point of flaking off. I am considering replacing the entire line from fuel tank to engine. Has anyone else run into this? Does it make sense to replace? Where can I find a new fuel feed line?
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I'm doing a lot of work on my e30 myself and it's great. However I want to hear your suggestions for indie bmw/e30 mechanics in the dane county area that do good work but either are priced right, let you supply the parts and/or will work on the side for cash.
Also wondering if anyone has heard of places that rent out their lifts and how much that costs. Be great to not be on my back for for several upcoming projects.
Thanks

Hey guys,
Does anyone know where to properly mount an alternator ground cable on an e30 m20? I've searched online and in my repair guide with no luck.
It looks like it can reach from the back of the alternator to the engine mount ground cable location. Is that where it should go?
Hoping it will limit the amount of radio whine I am getting.
Thanks!

Thanks. Looks like that's exactly what it is. I'm reading some do an oil cooler delete and replace it with a threaded pipe joint from eta cars. Has anyone done this and/or can recommend it?

I'm replacing my clutch fan on a e30 this weekend. Does anyon know of a spot in Madison that sells or rents one? Or perhaps would lend me one? I went to auto zone, harbor freight and northern tools. NT has a Ford clutch fan wrench set. Tho not sure that will fit. thanks

My general search terms aren't pulling up anything on ebay. That's why I was hoping you guys could provide the exact part number / name of the trim piece.
Thanks wasnt m3 - that site seems legit and helpful.

Hey dudes,
I am a Bimmer enthusiast from the Madison area and am looking for my first e28 or e30. First time joining a Bimmer forum but a friend suggested that it may be better than constantly trolling CL!
I've posted a WTB topic already and check CL quite often - but would like to hear any tips from fellow members of where else to search.
Cheers!
