  1. Yep-absolute trash.  At least these people have been cool. The valet was in my car when it happened and the other valet's were standing there so they aren't getting out of this one.  I talked to the guys wife and it seems like this has happened to them in the past with her husband and she kinda just takes care of it.

  2. Definitely been slacking.  Have had some health issues that have taken precedence over doing anything to my car lately.  I went to my bartending job Saturday night and a brand new SL550 AMG backed into my front bumper twice  (multiple witnesses)... Going to get an estimate on that and see if it's more cost-effective to get a new bumper or re-do my stock e90.  It seems like they want to keep it off of their insurance which is also good.

  3. I go to have my car dropped off yesterday and of course they forgot to get me a rental car so I had to go to work then leave work early to go back to the damn shop.  They said at least a week (kinda figured as much).  Hoping it comes out good.

  4. Impala has been MIA and so has the truck.... Part of me is thinking he up and moved.  I asked someone at the building if they have seen the car (this person kinda helps in the leasing office/homebody/weird ) and she said they haven't seen the truck and that they think the lease ended this month.  Office Manager said to have my insurance company contact him and he'll approach the guy, if he's there.  If not, I do have the truck's license plate information.  Any suggestions on how to proceed or say f it and just get stuff fixed?

  5. Ok, car is again not back, but now there is an Impala parked in its place (still parking like an asshole).  I got my estimate, but since I financed my car, they put the bank's name on the check as well-  Does anyone know if I can deposit this directly into my own account or is this going straight to who I financed with?

  6. Alright, so he hasn't been back yet.  His Trans Am was there one day, otherwise no one has been next to me all weekend.  Insurance claim was filed and should be getting it looked at today/tomorrow.  To add insult to injury, I took off work early on Friday to speak with my apartment manager and he informed me there is currently no DVR system in place and the cameras are inactive in the parking lot/building as a whole (makes me feel REAAAAAALLY safe), so I can't even prove it was him unless insurance makes me fill out a police report/checks the paint.  And I'm not saying backing in your car makes you a douchebag, backing in your car and not knowing how park said vehicle makes you a douchebag.  The lines in my  lot are all even with each other and if you can line your car up with someone else, then maybe you shouldn't park like that.

Here is a pic of the Trans AM.  Granted he's still "in his spot" he's still can't park that well.  Whenever the truck is there, I have to back out to have my passenger get in because they can't open the door due to his amazing parking skills.

  7. Yeah it really blows.  Pics aren't the best, and that front passenger door is way more dented in than the pics. Oh yeah, and you can tell they somehow got the wheels as well. I'm headed back to my apartment to see if I can get the security footage from the parking lot I'm in.  The guy has a monstrosity of a mix-matched colored dodge ram...that he feels the need to back in to his spot.  Just by looking at the truck I feel he doesn't have insurance.  He also has a shitty 90's trans am which he backs in too.  Which was also crossing over into my spot last night (This guy seems like a real winner).  His truck has also been MIA the entire week which makes me think he is hiding the vehicle/getting it touched up.  I assume they can always test the paint transfer on my car to see the make/model of whomever hit me.

My biggest fear at this point is that the work may exceed the current value of the car.  If they do that, then I'll have spent the money getting my additional parts painted for nothing.. Ugh!

  8. And my car was hit  on the passenger side.  Significant damage across both doors and the rear quarter panel (dents, paint transfer-awesome)....I believe it was the asshole who parks next to me in my lot at my apartment.  Couldn't be more depressed right now.

  9. So messed up man.  I work in a club downtown and there have been similar assclowns who when X person/couple gets out of the car, they will act like valet and drive off, or hop in the car as valet is coming to get in.

Friend works in a restaurant downtown and 3-4 guys were sitting in the waiting area and a customer came in, asked if they were valet and one got up and tried to grab the keys, but my friend stopped it from a potential incident.

Saw a pic of a car across the street from my apartment (car was in a parking lot) with all 4 wheels taken.  I think it was a Yaris or something like that. C'mon!
