  1. Thanks. It's got a nice sound system and for performance an intake, rear section exhaust system, ssk, Dinan tune, sways, and other little things.  But I have the car going in sometime to get a dme update which is probably going to erase the Dinan tune.  I need the update to get an obd2 test for emissions inspection so it's gotta happen.  Unless you guys know where there's a Dinan dealer around here. I couldn't find any.
I think maybe just across the boarder into Illinois if you check there website unless that's jus a retailer

  2. Now you have some wiggle room for new projects ? :).

I only sold one BMW that I owned and that was a 94 325i sedan. I really liked the car but it was TOO small. I always felt cramped. It was great in all other regards and a blast to drive. It was in that car that I received my only speeding ticket in the last 15 years. I remember doing 55 and downshifting and rev matching into third and "Holy Crap" did that thing pull. I do miss it for that reason alone. I have a sweet spot for my E28's. I guess I am getting old but still have some class  .

Now I have some wiggle room for a new washer and drier and finishing some home projects lol.  And of course i'll be getting a few things done with my 335i now.

    was the buyer from Racine?

  3. Spotted a black 4-door something (E39 maybe - damn I gotta learn my generation tags already ) with white wheels on 9th street in Oshkosh today while in the E30. Got the wave!

That's Andrew. 540I Msport. He paid $2k for it. runs flawlessly

is this the one for sale on craigslist?

  4. ZHP window trim at the junkyard? Best of luck finding that needle in a haystack!
yeah I know. Basically there a section missing above the rear window. I know I'm not gonna find shadowline trim but if I could find matte black that would be good enough to make it look better than what it is and not have to buy the whole shadowline trim piece at 211$
  5. I was just at Schmidt's in Waunakee (just north of Madison off 12/18) and they had 3 or 4. Interiors all looked to be in decent condition but I didn't look too closely at them. What parts are you looking for?
. I'm just looking for some trim pieces along the windows
  6. This was the first DIY project I ever did on my car. I had no prior car experience what so ever. It was so simple. The only problem with the zip tie fix is you don't know if it will work until you take everything apart. In my case the cord was all messed up and tangled. I splurged and spent 150$ on a regulator from the dealer. I've seen mixed reviews on the other brands. Some say they work for years others say they fail within a year I can't comment on the off brand ones. But as far as saving money. Just do it yourself it's super easy

  7. If the wheel is bent bad enough to not hold air, you may be better off sourcing one that is straight. Straightening an oem wheel with that much damage will almost surely cost more than finding a non-bent one to replace it. Do you have a picture of said wheel?
It holds air but it just slowly leaks. I don't have a picture and even if I did you wouldn't be able to tell from the picture.
