so last Sunday I was at a buddy's shop rolling the fenders on a bug-eye subie and mk5, and swapping the nose of a mk3 golf and a fairly random guy was asking about my green car. apparently he would like to do a photo shoot of my car for the eurowerks guys up north, I said I was down and now I just got a message on the bookface asking where and when so now I need all of your help...
does any one know of some cool spots / backdrops for pictures of my auto???
thanks,
dp

"trusted shops" might be a handy thing to have it wont be handy until someone is in a jam but I know that there are only 5 shops that i would even think to take a car if i was having unsurmountable problems.

you dont need an address when you title/reregester your car there is a blake line on the MV-1 fourm that states "county vehicle is kept in" and just write a non emission county or out of state
-
yeah you can just hone them out if they are still round and the bores aren't hourglassed. just use a blade hone and go slow
-
dont buy an 85 its the slowest car you will ever drive I have a friend who curently drives one and I have owned an 89 turbo in a past life they are fine cars not cheap but fun to drive just like any thing worth having
-
yeah don't spot heat cast aluminum if you need to heat them heat the whole wheel evenly
-
keystone does some of the best wheel repair/ refinishing work
however just buy a lead hammer a beach towel and some 2x4 scraps plan on spending 2 or so hours on the set just work you way around the wheel slowly dont try and get the whole bend out at once just hammer a spot untill there is an improvement then move to the next spot working your way around the wheel untill its perfect its not hard its just time consuming and loud

i will probably show
