Love the e36 eurrofreak! Is it avus or estoril? Where are you located? I had a blue E36 follow me around a block or two here in Kenosha, then shot down a side street.

I may or may not be having issues with Tapatalk on my iPhone. Let me know if you all have the app and have any issues!

I just installed Tapatalk for WI Bimmers. I know some people like this, some don't. I'm not asking you to go out and buy the app, or download the free version, but- It's there if you want it.
You can find WI Bimmers by searching, or under the Automotive > BMW&Mini section.

Id take this 1M over a new M3. After the e46 M3 I really stopped caring about newer BMWs..
Agree 100%.
When I was in Germany (I was military), I had a deposit down on a 135i. I loved those cars, very fun to drive, and the N54 is a fun fun engine. I ended up finding my M3 and got that instead. I had a chance to drive the new M3 and really didn't like it. Then again, I'm comparing it to a E30 M3.
This might be the only new BMW I'd really consider buying, if I was in the market for a new two door. I'd love to test drive one!

Oh yeah, the iPad is cool. But I really don't see the need for it. It would be cool to have just to browse the internet on... But thats a lot of money for not much use I'd think.
I don't have Oprah money, actually I have very little money, so you wont see me on an iPad anytime soon haha!

Thanks and welcome! The idea kind of came together on a E30 site, so the current leadership here (and myself) are all E30 guys. We're not prejudice though

We appreciate any help we can get. We know its kind of intimidating visiting a brand new site with not many posts. But we really feel that catering to the local crowd will be a good thing in the long run!

I hit up Mayfair today and got two. There was no real reason to stand in line apparently. I didn't have to drive all the way out there, but it gave me something to do!
Yeah its hard to swallow when you put it like that. But I do feel I use it enough to justify it. I spend a lot of time on email and the internet.

Seriously? -11 degrees in Kenosha right now. I was listening to the radio a few minutes ago saying that the wind chill is -20. I'm seriously tired of all this freaking cold weather! My wife took some pictures of the snow storm we had. I think Kenosha saw just under 24 inches. I'll have to upload and post some. Driving around here sucks too, its like you have a 4 foot wall blocking both sides of the road and you just inch out hoping to not get into an accident.
How did you all in the Milwaukee area do with the snow?

Verizon stores opened 5 minutes ago for first come first serve to pick up a new iPhone. How many of you are standing outside in the -11 (here in Kenosha) weather for one?
I reserved two for pickup at Mayfair. Having just gotten out of work, I'm not sure if I'll even make it up there to get them.
I AM an Apple fanboy. I've had nearly every iPhone thats come out except this one. When I returned from overseas and reactivated my AT&T iPhone I found I had no service in the area I live. My street seems to be a dead zone for AT&T while Verizon is golden.
Anyone else getting one today?

What is everyone's skill level and/or level of experience when it comes to BMW's or cars in general? Would you be willing to help out a local member if you had the time? Would you do work for money?
I personally do not have a very high mechanical skill level. I do buy beer for those who will work on my car
That said I am always looking for someone with a fair amount of experience (specifically with the S14/E30 M3's) to help with projects. -
