Hey, my names Matt and I’m an e36 guy from East Troy, Wisconsin! I recently got into the e36’s within the past two years and have never enjoyed a car as much as I do with these things. I have had a wide range of cars, from SR20 240’s, to Supras, to Ls400’s, e60’s and my build I spent the most time on that I recently sold was my s2000 that was featured in super street. I’m 22 years old and love cars. I work 50 hours a week to support my bad car addiction (and rent and other bills sadly but)

I currently own a 323is that I bought about a year and a half ago with 140k miles. Since then I’ve replaced the entire cooling system with a CSF radiator, all new hoses, a fancy expensive water pump, electrical fan setup, new thermostat with housing, new expansion tank, etc. The car is black with a 2 tone anthracite wrap on the bottom half. The car is sitting on style 19’s with 205/40/17 Toyo’s. I have some cool interior bits like M-rain door panels and headliner and a ROUGH WORLD 1/150 steering wheel with renown hub. It has a nice short shifter, and makes for an amazing daily. I drive it year around. I’ve taken it to the tail of the dragon along with many other places. The car sits at 184k miles (44k miles in a little over a year) and doesn’t burn or drip a fluid of any sort.

My new project as of about a month and half ago that I had sold the s2000 for is a 95’ 1JZ Daytona M3 Lux. My plan for this car is to restore it (replace all trim and seals with new oem) and any other parts that have been worn down/faded over the years. I plan on doing a period correct sort of build and keeping it very simple. Since owning it, I’ve found a near new set of black door panels, I had a one of a kind custom roll bar made by structure fab and design in West allis, I’ve boughten some brand new in the box from 1995 Recaro SE seats, a MKAH rear seat delete that i wrapped in alcanatara, a Speedhunters 1/100 Renown steering wheel (not period correct but very simple and clean look) and some other things. It sits on 90’s HRE 2 piece hidden hardware wheels that I plan to fully refinish as well. My plan is to have the car looking and driving brand new by spring! It’s going to be an expensive yet exciting winter.

Sorry the pictures are all scattered and I doubt anyone will even read this but here’s some photos of the rides.

Welcome!  I've seen you around, I moved back to the area last summer in North Prairie and grew up in Mukwonago.  That Daytona is a great car.  I was a little upset Chubs sold it but I'm glad it went to a good home!

The Daytona is going to be getting all the love it deserves. I’ve put over 1500 miles on it in the time I’ve owned it. It’s so fun
