Earl Posted August 15, 2018 Report Share Posted August 15, 2018 For an e36? The sleeves are aluminum so they come out fairly easily with a few drilled holes and some light Dremel work. I just don't want to cut into the trailing arm on accident I did mine caveman style and uses the drill bit to "saw" through the sleeve and it didn't hurt the arm at all. Just one of those things that you can do carefully. If you drill out enough rubber, you could also use a hammer and chisel to split the sleeve.
