vbhargava
Finally got rid of the white w/M stitching shifter and parking brake boots. Picked up a CATuned set and it fit great. If anyone wants the old set I'm happy to give them away. Now its time to upgrade the shifter knob. What's your favorite for the E30? I think I'm going to have to do this, I really dislike the silver ring. I'll take the boots if no one else needs them, mine are pretty nasty. vbhargava

To be honest I'm having a hard time finding a step by step guide for 19lb injectors and understanding the differences in the various 19lb injectors iv found: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-E34-E36-M20-M30-M50-19lb-injector-upgrade-Genuine-Bosch-/292975028671 https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-E34-E36-M20-M30-M50-19lb-injector-upgrade-Genuine-Bosch-Gray/293400060812?_trkparms=aid%3D1110002%26algo%3DSPLICE.SOI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200116171858%26meid%3Dd1ac16fed34648e68c7afaf7c51828d8%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D292975028671%26itm%3D293400060812%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DPromotedSellersOtherItemsV2%26brand%3DBosch&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219 http://maksinjection.com/?product=bosch-0280-155-746-19-injectors-set-of-6 Do the installation of the injectors require anything other then swapping them out? I would personally opt for the 93 octane tune and this set here http://maksinjection.com/?product=bosch-0280-155-746-19-injectors-set-of-6 At most you may need to dremel new injector retainer slots in the upper portion of the body. I only had to do this once on as set of 33# injectors which had the clip location slightly different than stock. Many sets I have used did not need any modification. Not required but good practice would be to do a smoke test to check for any intake leaks and make sure your oxygen sensor is healthy. B C
I dont personally trust them. They may just be copies of stock chips, they could have checksum errors in the coding, its a mixed bag. The real thing is cheap enough and easy to sell if you ever need to. I wouldnt be surprised if a fair amount of "tunes" that exist are just stock tunes with an increased redline. At least with the MarkD chip you know the timing advance is more aggressive which is where all the power is made.

They are much better then stock (I hate the stock ones since they get stuck in the pedals) but to be honest for their price point I would expect better floormat templates for the rear seats. Overall I really appreciate the look and would probably still purchase again.

Unfortunate about the rear, but since those aren't super visible, that doesn't sound like it would be a deal breaker. I plan on doing black with red accents for the cardinal interior.
