Earl
The car was problem free all weekend other than a leaking valve stem. Super happy with it so far and just a few things left to button up before doing slidey stuff. Waiting on pictures from my friend yet but I'll leave this here m42b32 and Jdesign
B C
Great work! it looks fun. How I see it, an E36 coupe is a better drift car option. When you go sliding backwards into a wall you can just continue on life as a ti. Starting out with a ti means your unintentional wall-tap mulligan has been used up. just sayin jc43089, P_Roloff, Jdesign and 1 other 1

I need to get adjustable end links so I can connect the front swaybar too, since it seems the ones from BC are even too short to use at the height they set the coils at when shipping😐 The exhaust is stupid loud (muffler delete with a cherry bomb to eliminate a little buzz) and it really resonates inside of the cabin with the sound deadening removed. Not to mention I don't have the radio code and also don't have the 5 sided tool to remove the radio and give the serial number to the dealer=( For some reason they don't have it logged under the VIN number... I've driven worse hahah I was really surprised at how well it drove with the Stanley eye alignment hahaha

Earl
I just ordered tires a second ago so that should happen soon enough Jdesign
jc43089
I just realized that the gas filler door is in a different place on the ti. Mind blown. I guess it would be about in the tail light if it was the same as a coupe or sedan.

Earl
Somehow never posted this shot from my first drift day at the end of August And here are the Rio Bash shots The car held up really well and I'm super happy with how it performs for now. The big thing I want to change this winter is that the springs are too soft and allow for way too much body roll. As you can see, it rolls over enough at times where the sideskirts actually touch the ground. I just need to determine what springs I need to change to and then send the coilovers in to be revalved. I really just can't wait for more seat time next year Jdesign, Boris3, P_Roloff and 2 others
Jdesign
It looks really good. What coilovers do you have again? BC's?

Jdesign
Hit those rust spots with some red while your swapping coils!
Earl
Nah. Covering rust with paint has always looked worse to me than embracing the rust. With how much paint fade and clear coat peel this car has, it definitely fits the aesthetic
Jdesign
To each their own. From the pics it stands out like a monkey threw some poo at your wheel arches in disgust at your wheel fitment 🙃💩🐒 YoungCR
Earl
But in person the paint doesn't look anything like it does in the pics. Just paint over rust looks super half ass to me haha
Jdesign
It is half assed. but its better than the poo until a proper fix is made. But thats also just my opinion too. 🙃
Earl
This chassis is too far gone to ever see a proper fix unfortunately lol
