Oddly enough, I just had a spark plug blow out on my daily driver Honda about a week ago. Previous owner had replaced the plugs about 10k miles ago. Found another that was backing out too. Glad you found it before damage was done, I wasn't so lucky. Mine took the remaining threads out of the head and destroyed a coil pack. Ended up needing to get the head helicoiled. patsbimmer1 Posted October 24, 2016 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 Like above, spark plugs must ALWAYS be torqued and it's a good practice to put anti seize on the plugs when they're going in.
