Been awhile since ive made an update but have done a few things here and there with the car.

After getting caught in the rain a few time i decided to finally make my sunroof brackets and got a hood for the car. Neither stayed on very long but at least i can use them. Ironically i had to leave The Brew Haus car show early because i decided to drive out their without the sunroof and hood when it started raining.

Locally i found someone selling an SLR angle kit for my car and picked that up. Was imaging it was going to be a simple install, I was wrong. The SLR arms are much longer so I had to find extended brake lines. Turns out I could only find them from WiseFab (another steering angle company) and that was out of the UK so i went off on my own. A couple fitting and some steel braked line later everything was great. Then the kit creates a stupid amount of angle and before full lock the inside of the wheel hit the control arms so i had to make rack shims. After it all i am extremely pleased with the kit just wasn't expecting so many unseen issues.

Motor started knocking last week and came out. Turns out rod bearing #6 spun but once we started grinding the crank down the journal on #6 was cracked which we believe to be the culprit. Motor should of been rebuilt and back in the car in less than a week but was sent rod bearing for a euro s50 not us. Motor got all new bearings, rings, new gaskets, new oilpump, one rod, dual valve springs and titanium retainers and keepers, and a whole lot of cleaning. Timing was very inconvenient but shit happens.

Been awhile since I have updated here but this is the direction the car is going. Front fenders should be here sometime in February. Some people like where it is going, other people hate it. Trying to set myself apart from the rest of the e30 community. Also doing more upgrades to the motor again to make the sure it is bulletproof for this next upcoming season.

I like how many atypical builds are going on here lately!

Car is looking good!

Just because I have stock wheels doesn't mean my build is atypical.

The "overs" are very subtle. Thanks for keeping me hip, Earl. I always like seeing updates on this car and partly because its an "atypical" build as GunGun said

Finally found a couple hours away from school to get some work done. Ally my wheel parts are here and ready to assemble. Quarters cut, sealed and ready to rivet my overs on. Front fenders are almost finished and wrap color is picked out and ready to order once i get my taxes back. Pictures because i take pride it doing stuff the right way!
