patsbimmer1
Everything in your lower control arm can be replaced so if you are looking to save a couple bucks you can stay away from a whole arm. FYI
Ryan...
Right now I'm leaning towards replacing just the struts/springs, and if nothing else NEEDS to be changed I'll do a full f/r suspension overhaul over the winter while it's parked. Make it ride like new again
patsbimmer1
I would definitely do the strut and shock mounts while you are in there! It's not worth the headache to not replace it all at the same time. They make reinforcement plates as well that I would say are a must for the rear and should be highly considered. I have seen the front body split once but the rear body can mushroom frequently.
Ryan...
The rear struts have already been done according to the PO, but I'll probably buy those vorshlag reinforcement plates for them anyway. Right now the rear suspension is fine, so other than the plates in the rear I'll leave it be for now.
