Every time I see a clean one of these pop up around here it makes me want to sell my half baked project and just buy one.

This car is as clean as it looks, he's at a lot of the RA events so I've seen the car quite a few times.

Did certain years not get the twisty side skirts?

He mentions wood grain trim, I could be wrong but maybe luxury or something package had wood trim and non twisty side skirts?  It looks to have extended leather too, the door cards have leather inserts.

From what I remember, the lux package M3's came with non-twisty side skirts, standard style e36 sport seats in place of vaders, that vertical stitching on the door card inserts as opposed to smooth leather, wood grain trim, lux slat insert on the bumper instead of mesh, and no front lip.

100% accurate. The car appears to be a lux package with a couple items swapped out.

I get that. What's the classic saying re an e36 m3, that it will cost around $10k no matter where you start. I know it's an illusion but for some reason it feels less painful at the outset when you buy in low.

I've kept myself from inquiring about this for the last 3 days. I want it but don't have a use for it. Figured I'd share.

Loaded non-turbo E90. LCI, so it has the facelift. AWD with heated steering wheel, etc. Perfect winter car or daily.

Thats an awesome deal for a great winter car!
