This! I did not have the right tool. Holy hell it was a pain! If I used the original gasket it would have been a lot easier. On 9/5/2019 at 5:06 PM, Jdesign said: What was the issue? Also I never noticed until now that you have an M3 antenna on your car. Previous owner did an antenna delete and popped the M3 one on. Love the look! The odometer does stick sometimes so the milage isn't 100% correct. Probably should be around 4k.

When I took apart mine to do the garages I wanted to set the miles to zero very badly to reflect the new engine and my time with the car. But it seemed like it was more work than it was worth. DrLeadFoot
The T56 that I had in the car started popping out of 3rd gear & reverse and grinding going into 3rd. Time for a new trans! RPM transmission level VI was ordered and, while I'm in there, I popped in a Monster dual clutch in case I wanted to add more power. Should be good up to 700hp/to. Also got a bolt in roll cage from Mitch. (Thanks for delivery relay, Mitch & TJ!) Powder coated it gloss black and bolted it in. Nitto NT01 rear tires mounted as well. 255s. jc43089, m42b32, GunMetalGrey and 2 others

DrLeadFoot
Had Mike pop in new front oem wheel bearings. We removed the oem grease and packed them with Redline's CV grease to help avoid premature wear. Replaced the leaking power steering pump as well. DrLeadFoot
145amp truck alternator going in! 2 weeks ago I finally popped in the Drives Shaft Shop Level 5 700hp Axles. They are not direct bolt in for this '89 325is. Had to remove the ABS ring and grind down a manufacturing "bump" on the inside of the hub for them to fit. This involves mounting, removing the axle and grinding 10-ish times to get the clearance right. The output shafts are SUPER beefy. Out of a 930 Porsche I think? Cut off some more fenders to try and stop the tires rubbing. I think it worked 💪 B C and m42b32
