Rekpoint
Well, this was an interesting twist. For those of you who don't know I recently graduated from UW Stout with a Real Estate property management degree. I was running my small business through college and graduated with 0 debt thanks to selling euro clocks and various rare BMW parts. The business is strictly going to run as a side income as I recently just accepted a new job as a Commercial Property administrator. Doing so, I was looking for a new daily to treat myself. I was wanting an E70 X5 Diesel. I went to look at one in Minneapolis when the dealership owner hit another car with it in his warehouse. Sunroof didn't work but he wouldn't take 1500 off the price. Disappointed in that, I went home and kept looking, later that night this 2014 F15 X5 M Sport popped up down near Lake Geneva for a really fantastic deal. I messaged him 20 minutes after he posted and made sure to wake up at 6 am to try to convince him to let me come and buy it without anyone else stealing the deal from me. He agreed that he would take my word and there was no deposit needed to wait until Friday for me to come, take a look, and hopefully buy the truck. All my friends have jobs and school just had started the day before so nobody was free. As soon as I walked into the garage I could tell this beauty was coming home with me as the price was unbeatable. Here are the specs! 2014 BMW F15 X5 Alpine White over Mocha Brown, came with 2 sets of wheels ESR summer wheels and TSW Winters. The X5 is lowered on Silvers coilovers and has EVERY M performance option minus the big brakes and exhaust. That list includes. CF front lip, CF rear diffuser, CF mirror caps, black lip spoiler, CF interior trim, door sills, pedals, black grills, door projectors, rocker panel film, and the M performance power kit. So over 10k in optional extras the original owner speced this beast out with. I bought it from the 2nd owner who bought it from Carvana in Texas for 32k in 2021. The truck also has a Dinan tune, Burger motorsports intake, stealth hitch system, and IND painted roundels (They are definitely cooler in person) Needless to say, I am pumped that I came home with a way newer vehicle than I was expecting to purchase for not much more than an M57 E70. As for the future is just maintenance and drive. I have purchased a few things I'll be adding to this to make it more practical and clean up a few flaws. There aren't many. For those wondering what is happening with my M3. I plan on keeping it as it was my childhood dream car with my dad being an E46 owner my whole life. I am going to store it early at @pynacls house for easy access as I don't want to spend $250 a month in parking. (I have to clean his garage out) Guess he gets a free M3 garage ornament without having to worry about another set of rod bearings...
