S54 is at 103k miles and had the bearings replaced with WPC! Everything looked pretty normal wear wise for this mileage, and crank was in great shape.

Road noise is for sure better in all areas, obviously it’s not silent but it’s a cheap and easy way to convert your car into a 7 series

Oh, I also filled all of the doors/trunk/ and under the rear seat with sound deadening. This dramatically improved the driving experience! The stereo sounds a lot better, the road noise is quieter, and there are no more rattles with heavy bass in songs. I def recommend to anyone on these cars or anything older. I will be doing the E36 soon!

Little update, I am sure I missed a ton of updates in between this.
Scored some new seats for the ZHP! Have debated for a long time which route I wanted to go, on either m3 seats, or Recaro Sportsters, but I finally settled on just finding a really nice OEM set to match what came in the car. I felt that this fit the "build" a lot better.
So here are some MINT electric/heated seats I got out of a 15k mile e46.

Looks spectacular, as always! I thought I had a fun winter car, props to you for driving it year round. I’m sure it’s a riot in the snow!

THE BEAST HAS LANDED. So awesome that IND had the Karbonious box in stock. Luckily grabbed the last one!
SO EXCITED FOR ALL THE NOISE!

ACS mirrors successfully installed, painted, and PPF'd on the ZHP.
These have been on my list of parts I have been searching for for this car for probably 2 years now, finally found a LHD set, as all of the other sets I find are RHD. With my car being a 05, I have the ribbon style cables, so I had to modify them a ton to make them functional. I completely took the motor and harness out of my OEM mirrors and made a bracket so it fit in these. I parrallel park downtown almost daily, so I really did not want to lose the reverse mirror function.
I also recently black PPF'd the door trim, as it was severely faded and buffing did nothing. This has bothered me since I bought the car, and new shadow line trim is like $6000, so this was the best option. It honestly looks better than new, and will withstand all scratches with the nice self healing that PPF has.
I think the mirrors completely changed the look of the car! This is how the car should have came from the factory.

Just a minor update on the daily!

Still driving everyday, blizzaks on the TE37's have been awesome for the few snowfalls we have gotten, can't wait for the first big snowfall when it actually sticks. Car has been a true joy to drive, and never seems to get old. I am sure I have refreshed a few things since my last post, but the main one was doing a Brembo GT BBK in the front. This kit comes with a nice 2 piece rotor, and a huge size increase over the stock ZHP.
I also have a rear kit coming next week to match the front which should be awesome.
After that, I plan to order a new cooling system for the S54 as at the end of summer with AC running the water temp would creep up if I let it idle too long or got stuck in stop and go traffic. I plan to get the 3 core CSF and pair it up with the Mishimoto E-fan which should help keep the car pretty nice and cool.
Highly recommend this chassis to anyone and everyone

Update! Finally got the new Yokohama Advan V601’s mounted on the e88’s. Finally decided on 255/35 after lots of debating on what size tire to run.

They fit fantastic, have to install new rear bumper brackets that I ordered with more adjustability to widen the rear bumper a tad and I should be good to go. Very happy with the new setup, falling in love with this car again. Probably going to have some stuff resprayed on it in the very near future after a long winter of daily driving.

Some cars just have a weird way of finding me. I was not looking for an F30, but then again, I am always looking for cars to buy and sell. After buying a 2008 Tahoe hybrid on a whim to tow my boat, I came across a listing for a unique Alpine white over Saddle brown fully loaded 2014 BMW 328D Xdrive that was lifted, deleted, and tuned. The listing stated that the owner was looking for a truck or Tahoe to trade. I messaged him thinking how dumb I would be to get rid of all of my tow vehicles (after just selling my other Tahoe), but at the same time smart because of the value difference and the possibility of finally retiring my civic hybrid of 327k miles.
Fast forward a week later and I am a proud owner of another diesel BMW, and what better way to really prove a new cars "worth" other than to take it on a 3K mile road trip through the smoky mountain's.  I did some preparation, fixed some things, and fully inspected the car before I left, but safe to say I made it there and back without an issue.  I was thoroughly impressed by the cars capability by not only climbing up the side of a mountain with a bunch of heavily modded trucks, but keeping up with some other newer BMWs on the tail of the dragon.

For now, Im not really sure what the future may hold for the car, but I plan on keeping it for awhile. I have some thoughts in my head of lowering it back down, but for now, Im just going to do some preventative maintenance and fix some of the odds and ends that it needs. This thread will probably be more of a log for me to keep track of such.
