Bassboy3313
E21 is going through yet another rendition this winter. You can see where it has been and how it got to this point here ... http://www.wibimmers.com/board/index.php?/topic/1050-e21-project-thread/ Projects for this winter include replace rusty floors and swap in a turbo m20. Possibly do group 2 flares and wheels, but don't think I will get to that quite yet. Interior torn out and rusty floor culprits in view. Have to remove sound deadening from passenger side to see extent of damage. I have replacement panels on standby too. Created e30 c101 -> e21 fuse box plug harness removed and sold turbo m10 setup and trans engine bay being sanded down and KBS (por-15) rust proof coating half applied. picked up an e21 323i m20 front subframe for ease of install. Sandblasted and KBS coated. Progress is slow right now since I am waiting on SOMEBODY to remove my future m20/g260 setup from their current car. Ahem ahem! Earl
Who ended up snagging the m10? I want to see that thing live on! Also great progress Dave. You just need some dry ice and some time and you should be golden=) Also, do the flares and wheels this winter! You know you want to=P
Bassboy3313
A guy on bimmerforums snagged everything minus the long block, a guy on bmw2002faq snagged the 1.8 head/2.0 block setup for a mad turbo build and another guy on bmw2002faq snagged the 1.8 block for his e30. Since finding dry ice locally seems to be difficult, I was thinking of using an aerosol freeze spray. I don't know how well it would work or not. Unless someone else has a better recommendation. We will see what kind of time I have for the flares and wheels. Also need to drop some coin on tires too. And then eventually get it all painted to match. B C
The M20 he is getting is in great shape. Never been tracked, never experienced any boost spikes, and rarely taken over 2500rpm. jc43089

YoungCR
First time working with KBS? How do you like it? Can't wait to start coating things myself.
Bassboy3313
I've been using it since I first started working on the car. I love KBS! Cheaper than por-15, yet identical performance. Also if you order it early in the day, you will receive your order next day. They are super fast shipping. Tons of great colors and products too. Bassboy3313
Got the head all assembled and ready to go. Last thing to do is adjust the valves once I get some feeler gauges. Also, powder coated the turbo compressor housing and some pulleys. jc43089
