Boris3
Looks like a respray inside and out, along with the full gut. I was seriously considering this for a bit after John let me take it for a test run at the e30 picnic a few years back. Body was in good shape except for the fender surface rust from under the old decal. Clutch stiffness would wear your leg out for a city/traffic DD but it certainly would be a fun track beast. Good to see that's where it ended up!
HipMF
Wow indeed. I almost bought that car, but couldn't pull the trigger because of the color combo... I had seen a set of e36 LTW seats for sale recently too, so I guess it all makes sense now.
HipMF
The guy from California that originally put the s52 in it posted maybe a year ago on 318ti.org asking if anyone knew what happened to his car. Someone should send him some pics...
Earl
I had driven that car before too and that clutch is super stiff lol. The brakes could put your through the windshield too haha Boris3

Boris3
This is pretty entrepreneurial for a seller. Do what you got to do to sell an AT e30 with 278k, buy him a plane ticket and he'll get it up here from NC. https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/d/e30-325i-1989-rust-free/6517960884.html Here's the ebay listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/1989-BMW-3-Series-325i/232685962661?hash=item362d2a05a5:g:5KQAAOSwZyRamxVT&vxp=mtr Rekpoint
Earl
That's a decent car for the price for sure. I can't imagine the plane ticket would be any more than $

Jdesign
Also I found this online this weekend, and Message the guys, Im 50/50 on making the drive to go get it as its about a 3 hour drive. I really wanted it for the bumpers but the front one looks like its destroyed via rust. It does have the L6 interior though which in itself makes me want it. That cooler in the back seat is killer. https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/d/classic-1989-bmw-l7/6515930490.html What would you guys pay for this considering the drive? He said it runs but the trans slips bad. He mentioned something about a trans pump but I think he has no clue whats wrong. Just the front Euro bumper alone is roughly $500 http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=29239 Prices are kind of all over the place for them right now. But the parts themselves are pretty high valued. I could buy that car for $1k (I already talked him down) and Part it out for roughly $2k with parts left over. 1 hour ago, RobZR said: There's much better fish in the sea. https://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-bmw-635csi/6510242055.html https://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/d/bmw-635csi/6490580579.html https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/1984-bmw-633csi-635/6451553389.html https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/bmw-635-csi-1989/6501788875.html https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/1987-bmw-635csi/6492058421.html https://myrtlebeach.craigslist.org/cto/d/classic-1987-bmw-convertible/6509858446.html None of those have euro bumpers or are L6's.
